Happy Birthday! We’re just a few days apart! Great to see you back on the water. Looked like you had a blast at Rogersville too! I just got back from Cedar Springs. Finally got my dad to go and we had a blast! Limits with the smallest trout being 17.5” and the best 24”. No monsters, but very nice trout! Planning on going back in October. Hey, if you’d like to go with us drop me a line and we’ll get together and head out! Glad you got your rod back! 😃 A friend dropped his rod under 421 bridge on S. Holston. No luck getting it back in 150’ of water.
Hold on!!!! Lol really good day brother! I cant wait to get back out, going to be a muddy mess for the next few days looks like. Sorry I'm late watching the video, been a busy week. Good job man, i hope you catch another record fish!!
@MichaelKaal-TriFisher You're very welcome! Catfish and carp would be a good choice since the water is messed up, I'm sure you could catch some from the kayak. Whatever and wherever you go, be safe! Hope you catch a monster!
I hate that you lost a rig, but that can happen on occasion while on the water. We went fishing off of Pickens Bridge on Boone Saturday and caught about 20 stripers. Most were much smaller than you were catching but fun all the same.
WOW… What a day!!!
Boone lake is hard to beat..
Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, stuff like that happens. I actually ended up catching and saving my rod. So it’s all good.
@MichaelKaal-TriFisher Hahahaha that's great to hear! My father did that once when his handle broke on his rod during a cast.

I lost a rod and reel at Watauga lake and I know what you feel. I got online and replaced it the next day.
