    Instead of ripping off the little rubber thing, I taped it to the inside of the cover. Just in case I want to use it without solar later on. Great video.

    Getting confused here. Do I keep the lithium batteries in the camera or not?

    • @BusyBeeLiving
      @BusyBeeLiving  Год назад +4

      No, I just put the batteries in to set up the camera and then removed them at install. Good question.

      @@BusyBeeLiving I've since been told that the batteries should be left inside for when the solar hasn't had enough power to charge the internal battery.

      @@duncanblackwell958 I’m sure you could do that and it would help with any interruption do to low power with the solar charge. I wanted to remove mine so I could make sure that the camera was drawing from the solar powered battery and not the others so I could give a honest review on how well it worked and if it was truly doing it’s job. So far no issues but we’ll see once the snow starts coming. Great point though and thank you for sharing I’m sure others will learn from this!

    I have blink outdoor 3 cameras, can I use the solar panel option, do it she out the lithium batteries and buy rechargeable ones?

    • @BusyBeeLiving
      @BusyBeeLiving  7 месяцев назад

      They say that the lithium batteries are the way to go and not to use rechargeable. I'm guessing it has to do with the extreme weather changes that they have to deal with. The one have have with the solar panel has worked great though.

    Do you get enough sun in that place? From here looks like the shade might cover the camera and the solar panel

    • @BusyBeeLiving
      @BusyBeeLiving  7 месяцев назад

      Yes, the camera is facing the west and even with the over hang and the tree kine in the distance, it gets enough sunlight to recharge the batteries. It hasn't gone down once since install.

    My solar camera has low battery !! I think it used up all the AA juice and it’s not running an solar power. It doesn’t show me solar life just battery life..

    • @BusyBeeLiving
      @BusyBeeLiving  Год назад

      Seems like you will have to move the cameras location to an area that receives more sunlight. In my more shaded areas I use the straight battery powered units.
