This house is in a quiet neighborhood away from all the noise of traffic, and busy streets. Transportation is readily available as taxis are always cruising by. There is a taxi station down the street. All you have to do is look in their direction and wave to them and they pull up.
The house is luxuriously furnished. The spacious living room has an a/c and 2 ceiling fans making it very comfortable to relax in on the hot and murky days.
It has ample space in the kitchen furnished for home-cooking if you enjoy that. My wife liked that as she prefers home-cooked meals.
If you are cooking-challenged, don't worry, there are food vendors nearby. Just tell the taxi driver what you have an appetite for and they will take you to the best fufu, kenkey, jollof rice, waakye (rice and beans). We had a few and they were delicious.
The porch is very comfortable and airy. On a cool day, you can enjoy the cool ocean breeze outside and enjoy your meal or just relax.
The ocean is 5-10 minutes away. My wife and I went down to Tema beach to enjoy the ocean view and some beer. It is not crowded like other beaches.
The caretaker, Anthony, lives on the premises. He is very pleasant and respectful. He is available to take care of any reasonable need. He is so helpful, he even accompanied me to a barbershop and came back to get me. Others would have given you directions and hope you don't get lost.
Ephraim was also very accommodating. I had a very challenging travel schedule around the country, but he worked with me.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ephraim's house.
The only downside is if you have to go to Accra often on a daily basis. It is more than an hour's ride, of course depending on the time of day.
I will definitely stay there again when I have a long stay in the Accra/Tema area.
