Great video and easy enough for anyone to do as long as they are reasonably careful with a utility knife. A person can easily save at least $30.00 on the recycling fees after buying new tires with 30 minutes of sweat and muscle.
When you roll up the tread instead of using wire or fighting it in to the plastic bag. Just get your screw gun and drive a long screw in to the rolled up tire. Also the two rings you cut out with the razor knife can be cut in to small pieces with an abrasive chop saw. A lot of tires are a LOT harder to roll up as tight as the one you used.:)

tires don't get recycled, they get cut up and put in landfills the fee you pay when you buy your tires goes in to your states slush fund and they piss it away on bullshit, landfills don't want whole tires because they waste space, trap water, and methane gas once they are buried, also most landfills accept tires that have been processed or cut up
well I have succeeded in watching 225 of your 226 videos on your channel. the video Mountain Adventure - Tioga Pass Road, Obsidian Dome & Wind Noise does not work or I would have watched all of your videos. it took me 6 days to achieve this feat. i would watch a couple of hours each day except on sunday which i took the whole day to watch your video with the occasional break to eat shower nap and toilet breaks. so now that I have finished I will be having alot of free time on my hands

I feel for you Jake! When hard working people have little as it is and greedy corporations are trying to get more things like this people have to do! We live in a slave society where you have to sacrifice way the odds pay twenty dollars to get rid of there trash and not eat that day or Eat that day and throw there trash away for free! Not hard to make a decision like this considering that buddy who makes a hundred thousand a year can pay the ridiculous nitty gritty fees!
because its a challenge, and also maybe you can stick them in a trash can and have the garbage man haul them away with your normal garbage for free...... but mainly because of the challenge.

But my beads we're much stronger than your beads were, it would have taken a gorilla to twist them up. Using a cutoff wheel on tires is too smelly but i found that bolt cutters easily cuts thru the steel cable. And yes, brand new razor instantly goes dull upon any touch of the steel belts. Challenge accepted and passed!
Might be a few $ cheaper and yes, technically it fits into a small bag but these are recycled for a reason and not dumped into a landfill. Where I live it's $4 per tire to dispose of them properly. I personally would avoid any garage who gets rid of their old tires this way.

Use a scroll saw or sawsall ...alot safer. Use screws and drill to hold it after folding. Very easy 😊

Maybe some longer zip ties would work instead of wire. I wonder if bolt cutters would work to cut the tires up smaller.
That's how you get old, worn tires off the rim. A helluva lot easier than using tire irons. One quick cut and you are done.

FYI people never use a box cutter and cut towards yourself. That's how you loose a finger or more.
Copy this guy and within 5 tyres you'll have cut your radial artery. Never ever cut towards your body and definitely not towards your wrist. Madness.
