Omg!!!! I just quit smoking I got about two weeks in. This has been something I wanted to do for long time and was just stuck. I pray the universe delivers me from smoking for the rest of my life 🙏🏽❤️ and continues to give me the strength and guidance.
Good for you! I quit smoking 10 years ago after over 25 years of attempts (some lasting as long as a year). It's truly one of the most difficult things I've ever done! I made a list of small personal rewards/distractions that I would use whenever I had the urge to smoke; things like buying one perfect rose, or watching an episode of Seinfeld, taking a 5 minute walk (if it was nice out), brushing my teeth and using mouthwash, playing Candy Crush for 15 minutes, and prayer/meditation(this was a HUGE help!) I kept the list with me at all times. And this really helped! Everything about smoking is bad, except for the opportunity to step outside in beautiful weather. So I just made that a reward - to step outside for 10 minutes and just be present and appreciate the beauty of my surroundings...and pray/meditate. The key to quitting is the commitment that you make to your Self. Smoking is simply no longer an option. If I can't depend on my own commitment to myself, then...(only you can complete that sentence). You don't need luck, or willpower, or anything but conviction and commitment to yourself!

My Tower moment occurred on August 13 this past Summer when my son ended his life behind my barn. He left me a letter telling me not to blame myself because he wrote that he had been planning to end his life for the past 10 years because he was a "broken man". I'm still reeling from the abrupt end of my life as I have known it. The result being rehoming all of the animals that I have had in my life for the past 20 years; my last horse and goat and all of my cats+ the sale of my home and being yanked from the rural existence that I have loved for the past 25 years to an overwhelming fast paced city life . I'm so sad and lost in my struggle to make sense of what has happened and future purpose for the rest of my life. I just turned 76 years old today, I am really hoping to find a purpose for the remainder of my life.

5:18 the tower event happened yesterday. The apartment I looked at and was really excited about didn't turn out the way we thought and they raised the price and I lost my bank card and bus card on the way TO the apartment. Was definitely in tears on the Uber ride I didn't want to pay for home. I was rough on myself for it, I won't lie. I called myself names. And I think I got those names from other people that belittled me in the past for losing my items (I have AuDhd and tend to misplace things, including half my braincells, it's really hard 😢
