Is the family room what the English call a "living room" like with sofas and a tv and sometimes a small table? And is the sitting room sofas as well, or is it a table with chairs around? Given the name i feel like that's something specifically for welcoming guests but idk. Does it have to be in a separate room, or can it just be a separate area of an open floorplan?
