Usually it’s only one of a few things; Lamp bulbs not strong enough Client hit their nails causing the pocket (which you see most on longer nail clients and they usually can tell you when and how they remember bumping it) Or the shape of the clients nails. I have one client who just gets them no matter what I do!
Trinity is a Proformance gel, nonporous. Options can soak off so it is porous (its also more expensive, so I typically will use Trinity now for encapsulating glitter).
Also, would it ever be possible for you to show a side view of how you apply trinity? I've tried with a flat brush and I still can't get it to glide like you do.
Wow 2 videos within a couple of days-love it 😀. Love these full appt videos. Thank you for sharing them. I really look fwd to your videos. What made you switch from a carbide bit to a sanding band for removal?
Hi Jess & shayla! Had a question about the structure gel, do you need to use affixit and a dehydrator when creating a new extension? I notice that the product works very well for my own nails, no lifting for up to 2 weeks, but on a client there is lifting after 5 days. So my question is 1. Do I need to dehydrate and 2. Do I need to build the entire nail from cuticle to end of Extension with structure gel? Thank you for the videos. Extremely Helpful and always relevant. Take care X!!
First I would really have to see your prep. And if it’s only 1 client it might be more their body chemistry. Are you having success with all your other clients? You can use dehydrator (first) then Affixit and then a bonding gel before structure (like Adhere or Optibond or even Trinity). I don’t put structure on the whole nail. It’s so thick you would certainly end up with more than you need around the cuticle. Use structure for your arch and tip. Then cure. And then do a “fill” with Trinity to fill in the cuticle area. That’s how I do it anyway :)
Everyone needs a Shayla for a client❤. What a joy. Love the swirl!
I love shylas energy shes a dream client and I always love her long nails
Why there air pockets on the nail plate ?
Usually it’s only one of a few things;
Lamp bulbs not strong enough

Great quick design. Also love your client. She sounds like she would be fun.
Would love to see how you use hard gels and forms on short bitten or very thin nails
whats the difference between trinity and options crystal clear??

Love these nails! How do you store your 106 brush since it doesn't come with a cap?
I lay my brush on top of my container of orange wood sticks.
Fantastico!!!💓💖💖💖💖
Love watching your videos.
Love this set

I never got much into carbides. I absolutely hate the sound!! 😆

can you use trinity to encapsulate?
Absolutely!
I'm sure you've addressed this somewhere.. Why don't you clean under the nails with efile bits?
I teach my clients to use nail brushes and clean their nails. I only have 1-2 that don’t do this well and I remind them often. :)
We love Shayla and her nails! 💯🤗💛💙
