- It’s an annual maintenance on this 3 year old tapestry garden in Pacific Beach! It’s time to bring out the power tools and the whip and chair!
We’ll also do some detailed grooming.
Hope that this video inspires you to tear into your succulents, too😊
Watch until the end for yet another “announcement”
When life gives you lemons make some lemonade. Your little place undersea jewel box succulent garden and citrus trees are so cool and beautiful. Also this project today is what a lot of us live for. Have a great time at your ranch.
Returning the design to its original (with minor changes) beauty seems just as satisfying as planting it out for the first time.
I’m kind of relieved that you don’t have to move but your attitude about the whole thing is beautiful.
Kind of glad for the stay. Was a little sad to see some of the things you were considering leaving behind in the current garden. Less stress on you and Greg too!
Please keep this videos coming! I love watching you remove and Re arrange this beautiful plants. I missed this videos sooo much!
This is what I LOVED during quarantine when you did areas of your garden on the daily! I love it when you do videos like this!❤
What an artist! Every time I think the before is beautiful as is. But, when she's done with maintenance, it's ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!
I loved this video. It was more like your earlier posts where you showed how you did the maintenance rather than “just” the before and after of installations. I felt like I actually learned how to do some judicious edits and the results are so beautiful! I know it takes a long time to do the massive installs you and your crew do. Love those but learn more from these. Thanks and have a great vacation!
I really miss watching you doing maintenance in the garden. It’s so exciting to see you work your magic. Please show more in the future!! Have fun at the ranch! Don’t be gone too long!! ❤❤❤
Yes we miss you a ton!!!!🎉
Oh for cryin' out loud, Laura, aren't you just so glad you hadn't started dismantling your garden in anticipation of the move, only to discover (with less than 3 weeks to go *and* a signed lease *and* a paid deposit no less!) that the rental owners have backed out of the contract? Lord, have mercy! I really admire how calm and cool you are about the time and energy (and expense, if you purchased packing boxes and possibly turned down some jobs in order to have time to prep for the move) you have already put into packing up, only to learn it was wasted effort. I'd be so po'd my head probably would have exploded.
I hope you and Greg enjoy your time at your ranch.
Always enjoy your maintenance videos! And so glad you hadn't started to move plants, etc. out of your garden for a move. You always amaze me at how calm you remain!!! Enjoy your visit to your beautiful ranch and property up north!
Have a great time at your ranch and hope y’all get some much deserved rest & relaxation. ❤
Whatever will be will be! You know the song!😊😊😊 l will follow you both wherever you go! Loved the maintenance, it's amazing what a couple of hours can do. ❤from South texas
That ripple jade is absolutely gorgeous!
It's beautiful as usual, but I'm hoping you didn't forget the plants on the neighbor's mailbox.
I had been looking for a moving update, then just watched this video and got the Tea 🍵
Hope you’re enjoying the ranch and glad you aren’t deconstructing your beautiful garden 💕
What a contrast to the big old runamucky blue flames next door. You are far more gracious than I would be about signing a lease and then being told, "Just kidding." That's a [tall Pilosocereus azuris and 2 golden barrel cacti] move. I'm so sorry they jerked you around!
I’m glad that you don’t have to move and you’re going to take some time off at your ranch.
Love “your side” of the property. But the plain agaves look nice too with the rock.
Lovely garden 💚💚💚
I've been a fan of yours for a long time and love all of your ideas. Good Morning from Thailand❤😊
Well, I guess it’s better that you didn’t find out when you rolling into the driveway. 😂 The right home will happen at the perfect time.
The clean up turned out great - has it really been 3 years already?
Hope you and Greg have a wonderful time at the ranch!!
I was looking forward to you putting in a new installation but totally happy for you staying put!!
yall have fun & yes. we would appreciate a few ranch videos 🙌🏼. thx ☺️
Always awesome work. Enjoy your R&R time up north.
Glad your current home owners let you stay! But, of course, they would!
Hello Laura and Greg 👋watching you from Perth Western Australia 👍❤️
Laura, Laura! I hope y'all are having a great time at the ranch. Be blessed on Momma's Day and please go listen to the new song called Mama by Kim Walker Smith. Its a gem and will bless you!! 😘
Your many videos has inspired me to be more aggressive with my succulents and move them around when needed. I used to be so afraid to touch the plant if it was growing. Thank for the “Succulent-Confidence!” ❤
Yay!!! for Vista!!!!
It looked amazing before but your edits are always so on point it improves the end result.
Great maintenance! And great news that you don't have to move. Hope you get your deposit back 🙏🏼.
Have fun up at the ranch.

"We could but I don't want too" I love that mindset 😂
Lovely garden. Really like the addition of the black rock.
Another beautiful project, love to see the completion of each of your jobs.🎉
Looks great Laura! Enjoy your time at the ranch!
Love how the maintenance in Pacific Beach. Very glad you get to stay where you are living, Love your garden. Hey what are the 3 plants setting the mailbox for? Have a great day.
Thank you Laura!
You make it look so easy! So pretty!
Laura, we just love your content, it’s so beautiful and insightful! We already learnt so much thanks to you. We've sent you an email, there might be something we could do together 🙏🏻💌
You know... I blame those trips up to the ranch for my sempervivum addiction because you visited Mountain Crest Gardens and did that tour 😂 I have to keep them inside because they would be burned to death in my climate... But I find ways to squeeze them in.
eager to see the ranch updates
Come back 😢soon we are going to miss you … but you and Gregg deserve your time off 😊 see you soon ❤
I love these maintenance videos. So helpful. Why didn’t you edit and thin out some of the crassula so you could see the plants underneath, eg. blue elf?
Theres more than meets the eye. For some reason you're leaving that blue elf under the undulata... Not like you to leave something like that. Anywho... I still love you even tho i can see you're transitioning into being finished with your part in the business. I want the very best for you Laura and your family ❤❤❤ you are and have been an asset. 💚💚💚
I was thinking maybe Laura’s working in a certain time frame or budget that she left it there?
I think Laura and Greg are probably wanting more time off as they get older and the grandchildren are getting cuter 😄
We’ll still be here when they have time for us.
I'm hoping that she rescued the poor milii that was smothering under the crassula ovata (you can see it at 6:52 while she's trimming the spent flowers off the Fred Ives). And if not, well, I imagine she'll find it next year since she plans to dig up and reset that ovata.
@@gabyaeberli7057 very possible too! I don't want to see her retire but I want her to be able to relax too so i can't be selfish 😢
@@janetyamashige9573 i agree
Best laid plans of mice.............gotta go with Flo 🙂 Carry on..................

What do you use to keep the weeds down that is not harmful to birds and animals
I thought that was dirt and was wondering what happned to all the rock.
Hi Laura.
Do you collect sempervivums? Or put any in your installations ?
I love what you do but some of your customers are so lazy. They keep you in business which is great but they could trim their plants with just a few minutes a week. Must be a California thing.
