Most kurdish music is "upbeat" and not dramatic, that's the point of kurdish music. you stay strong, you dance even when you sorrow, and you celebrate because you still exist. In rojava (West kurdistan or north syria whatever) when the turkish and jihadist army attacked the region the kurdish fighters, and civilians would dance to keep their moral and bravery. ❤💛💚
“Celebrate because you still exist.” I definitely felt that sentiment. When we were in Erbil and saw the Kurdistan flags everywhere, a lot of my guys didn’t understand. I got to talk to them about my previous interactions with the Peshmerga.
Salam from kurdstan iam kurdsh and that was our situation in 2014 yes we fight and we are not scared yes we are hero men we do that instead all the whole world even nobody say thanks that's Kurdish that song has a beautiful message yes love❤❤❤ from Kurdistan to yaya
I think she made the beat the way she did was to draw attention. If people like the beat they're going to listen. If they listen they hear the lyrics. If the music draws attention, the message gets through easier and its often a bitter pill to swallow if you show the bitter truth of war and violence. Death. I think she did an amazing job with this. It brought attention in a way that was both good and bad. The good is that more people are protesting against violence and war, unfortunately the bad news is that war is going to keep happening. I hope that in the next generation or 2 the violence goes down.
Thank u for the reaction but the one who told to react to it also needed to fill with information, its not like any normal song it was for a reason...to show the war against ISIS wut they did to our ppl in the past few years...we kurdish ppl were right in the middle of the war and played a major role defeating the ISIS...hope u react to more kurdish songs, dancing and other stuff...much love from kurdistan❤️💛💚
7:18 The way I took this, she had been crying previously in the video because the enemy had caused the damage that it had then. At this point though, she’s seeing what’s playing out and how people are fighting back. The tide had started to change and people are rallying against the enemy. I could be wrong, but that’s how I saw it at this particular point.
We kurdish people have always fought for our country , every one was somehow thirsty for our precious land , but we never gave up , and history proved that we always stayed strong men , women, kids with guns in their arms risking everything they have , we always fight fighting kurds love you
The thing about war stuff has to do with the paradox of tolerance. In order to have a tolerant society one must not tolerate intolerance. Otherwise the intolerant are given no opposition and free reign to terrorize which creates an intolerant society. To stand by while others suffer is to be complicit. So Daesh (ISIS) was a violently intolerant group that waged war on the peoples. The YPG/YPJ fought valiantly against them. Those being the self defense forces of Rojava. Because sometimes you do have to meet violence with violence. I highly recommend reading about Abdullah Öcalan, Rojava, PKK and such
These are the people who fought against ISIS and they wiped out ISIS while the world was just watching and doing absolutely nothing about it. Have some respect. Long live Kurdistan ❤️
The message was that we should be united to end this terror , because terrorism has no specific religion or nationality or purpose..... it’s just negativity.... and This area in the video is Kurdistan , ISIS were very near to occupy it, But Kurds fought back and protected their lands .... proud to be kurdish ❤️🌺❤️🌺
