Definitely not a predictable ending. I love bringing back this 2 ring battle royal. The first time I saw this was over 20 years ago in WCW with Battle Bowl.
I wish that aew would bring back the lethal lottery random tag teams with the winners going on to a Battle Royal for a shot at whatever title they choose. Loved the randomness.

Watch how he carries his energy and transfers it from spot to spot. He has what Tanahashi has. That ability to captivate the crowd, take that energy, and transfer it to spots or other people.
In my opinion, very few wrestlers have that.

Eliminitations were so fast, lost some of the impact. Love the two ring concept and Brody King as the winner. How he eliminated Darby was a nice and creative way. Looking forward to the match against Mox.

Awesome finish. I love in AEW how random dudes that are over get their chance in a main event spot. Really looking forward to seeing how King works in a big Dynamite main event.
I think Brody King deserves a great push, he’s so talented and AEW giving him this great spotlight is very cool!

Saw it ten years ago, Matt Basso's Gallow Choke, and yes its badass and even better looking up from the crowd with the high etc Camera's don't do the Gallow justice and still looks epic

I love the unpredictability of AEW makes it more realistic and a better program. Gives highlights to people normally not on top and people time to shine.
The 4 ppvs in a year also help as well imo. We won't always get the main eventers to fight for the top title, everyone actually gets a chance in the company

Personally wanted to see Hangman back on thee road to gold but I don't mind Brody taking the first shot at Mox, that match will be fire.
And shoutout to Darby who made the storytelling here as good as it was, he really put Brody over while fighting with his all to the end, easily one of my favorite AEW originals

I absolutely agree. Guys like Darby and Hangman were the obvious picks to win this, and they went the most unpredictable route in my opinion. It’s a breath of fresh air.

Actually not new at all . WCW did stuff like this all the time and you see how it turned out. If you ask me this is gimmick shit only time it's good if it's in a cell. even then it's too confusing and spilts the crowd on what they are looking at

I don’t like the Casino Battle Royal much but I LOVE the Casino ladder match. It’s perfect. Great story as well. Do you want to start early because there is less people in the match so it could be easier to get the chip or do you want to go late and whilst be the freshest wrestler the match be over before you even have chance to enter
I was nervous we'd be repeating ourselves by having Darby again compete with Mox. Don't get me wrong, I love Darby, but I'd pay money to see Brody King vs Moxley. Those two will tear chunks out of each other.

Honestly imma say it… this should be on the next Dynamite. It’s a good match but the wrestlers and fans need more time between ppl coming in overall it seems a bit to confusing. 9/10 and I like the concept however.
The have to do it on rampage because there will always be a rampage recorded after blood and guts.

I like the concept of royal rampage match it’s like two battle royals happening all at ONCE also I like the ending where brody had darby in a sleeper and waited for him to pass out so he can eliminate him.

Forbidden Door and it's aftermath was amazing. We started with AEWxNJPW Crossover PPV, and then Blood And Guts, and now Royal Rampage on the same night? Man this week was fucking wild. This weeks events should be a yearly tradition.

Wow, they really worked me with that ending. When Brody went for that contrived setup, lifting Darby up onto the turnbuckle and the climbing up after him, even putting one foot over onto the outside, I had to stop myself from rolling my eyes at how forced it was- but I guess AEW _knows_ how overdone that kind of "the heel gets cocky and eliminates himself" schtick is and swerved us by just having Brody murder Darby to win. Love it!
I just wish Keith Lee's elimination had been a bit better done- that one WAS the old cliche of eliminating one guy then leaning over to look at him while his partner runs at you from behind and dumps you out. Oh well. Still can't wait for King vs Mox.
AEW has been at another level lately. They're not messing around. That Darby Allin ending was extreme.

The just need different colored ring mats or posts and their set, I loved the set up of this rumble. Loved the Rush & Penta interactions, awesome that a monster King is facing off against Mox

Best way to finish a rumble I think I've seen. The shot of him in the choke with his arms dangling will be iconic in wrestling I'm sure.
Shout out to AEW for keeping this fresh. Expected either hangman or Darby to take the W. Brodie King is a definite surprise. Plus the two rings helps keep things fresh!
This was a lot of fun, but I hope the next time they do it, it's bigger. More people, longer interval between entrants, and it just goes the whole hour
I love the idea of coming up with more novel match ideas they can do with 2 rings
You can definitely tell how complicated the circumstances are for this match behind the scenes though, given how many tag teams were in this. Also, this might be the first time in Battle Royale history that the biggest man actually had an advantage for once.
Well, it was a bit more coherent than any multi-ring battle royals WCW use to do.
@@2rrkd When I say complicated I don't mean the rules for the match, I mean with how many people are injured/sick/written off TV they were having trouble finding singles wrestlers to put into this match for a world title shot, even with only 20 participants
