    A quick question, in SMARTPLS 4, there are two options to run alogirthm, standard and consistent. My results are quite different in CFA model testing when using consistent vs standard algorithm. So which one to use?

    • @researchwithfawad
      @researchwithfawad  8 месяцев назад

      Go for Normal PLS Algorithm

      @@researchwithfawad James Gaskin suggest using consistent algorithm when all constructs are reflective, which is my case. Still one can use Standard option?

      @@jainyritesh hi, I have the same doubt. If you've had it clarified, it would be helpful if you could share it here..

    Prof, thank you so much for your educative videos. My concern here is, what do I do for a construct whose item loadings(it has three loadings, the rest were loading low and i deleted them) are all well above the threshold value of 0.70, but its alpha and rho_a are 0.667 amd 0.68 respectively? Should I entirely remove the construct from the measurement model or ?

    • @researchwithfawad
      @researchwithfawad  8 месяцев назад

      Thanks for watching. If your composite reliability is over 0.70, you are good to go. There is no need to delete the construct. Alpha is low because of lesser no of items in the construct.

    Sir, you said in one of your videos that you will teach SmartPLS through the process macros technique. i couldn't find that. could you please help me with it?

    Hello sir, my AVE is above 0.5 but there is an issue with Cronbach Apha and Rho_a below 0.7 in two variables out of 7 is that an issue????

    Thank you for this lecture, in case of having AVE below 0.5 while Cronbach alpha and Rho-c above 0.7, what should we do?

    Sir, I have three outer loadings of 0.692, 0.618, and 0.593 for three different constructs. Do I remove these items?
    For one construct, my Cronbach alpha is 0.676, and rho_a is 0.695, but my rho-c value is 0.820, and AVE is 0.604. For another construct, my Cronbach alpha is 0.693, rho_a is 0.694, but rho_c is 0.809, and AVE is 0.514. My HTMT values are fine and within the limits, and the Fornell-Larcker criterion and cross-loadings are also fine. What should i do in this case? If it is okay can you please share a reference for the same?

    Good Evening Sir, You informed that, Indicators having value between 0.4 to 0.7 can also be kept (don't delete) if AVE is > 0.5 and Composite Reliability (rho_c) >0.7.
    But sir in my case AVE is >0.5, CR>0.7 but Cronbach alpha ( α ) is coming less than 0.7. What should I do sir? Please guide us. Thank you

    • @researchwithfawad
      @researchwithfawad  8 месяцев назад +1

      Don't worry about Alpha. If CR is fine, the construct is reliable

      @@researchwithfawad Thank you so much Sir for replying. It means a lot. I wasn't sure if at all you will reply. I am very much grateful to you sir. Thanks a ton.
      Actually in my case, in two of the lower order constructs (LOC) of Organisation culture (HOC) the CR is >0.7 & AVE>0.5 but Cronbach alpha is nearly 0.5.
      Earlier after data collection when the reliability was checked it was all above 0.8 but now it has reduced due to removal of some items. So I was very much in dilemma about what to be done. But thank you so much sir for your suggestions.
      Thanks a ton.
      Have a great day !!
