my God! .... i never thought i'd live to see the day any old Ring Ding footage ever came to light. i am completely blown away, supposedly everything at JBC-TV was taped over in the early 80's. my brother was on one of the episodes in the mid-70's that didn't make it to air, for whatever reason... absolutely unbelievable - great job, NLJ!

Thanks for the upload One of Jamaica's Icons. The Core foundation of this program should have been preserved. I grew up watching Ring Ding.Simply Magnificent.Culturally Responsive Teaching, This is what we need in This Time.
I didn't think any footage existed of this show. I remember watching this when I was growing up. Nice that someone has preserved some footage of this show for us to see.
i use to be on ring ding in the 70's with my school Alpha Kinder Prep and our dance teacher was Mrs Russell, i would love to see some of those ring ding in the 70's.
I was on several taping and one performance in I think 1976 I remember my cousin, my friends a I dance to the song Do it anyway you want. I remember being in the audience watching Junior Tucker perform. I wish I could see those tape to see myself as a little girl. I remember going to Jamaica house because they held a show on the lawn. Ms Lou had patience, she would interact and hugs us and yes clap us on even if the performance we not that great. I remember walking on the street a couple times after my performance and people said a you mi see pon ring ding. Priceless childhood memories.
I remember being on this show in the early 70s. She called me up to do ....she faint weh! LOL! And I did a good faint weh! And my brother sang "My Way!" I used to love this show!! Such good memories!!!
My sister and I once went on this show when we were a child. We went to perform as a group, but we did get to perform because there were so many children waiting to perform.
Do anyone know what became of these tapes, They were left at the old building where JBC used to be and most of these and other important tapes got stolen or destroyed.
There is a concert here for you and me, there's a concert here today. There is a concert here for all a we, there is a concert here today. Everybody there's a concert here today. Come along, there is a concert here today. So take your seat and pose the best, there is a concert here today.. Pom Pom

Hello, who do I speak to about being able to use this clip ?
Do anyone know what became of these tapes, They were left at the old building where JBC used to be and most of these and other important tapes got stolen or destroyed.
don dixon someone asked when carolyn cooper came over last week and yes , just like the A force ? Probably taped over forever obliterating our history
Who remember the exact lyrics of Ring Ding? I can't make out what's saying in this footage.

@@wendywendy1810 Sweet kids memories fr the 70s. Do you remember this kids show called Romper Room ?, It used to come on mon 2 Fri at 5pm
The posh commentary annoys me... Ms Lou's GREAT!
You know I grew up in the nineties and the reason why this iconic program ended was because of politics believe it or not.
These kids are all 50 plus now
@Da Royal General I only know because I jus turned 50 living in Boston. I left Jamaica in 78
Posh voice keeps talking about order coming out of chaos!! I see children waiting patiently to be directed and a good rehearsal happening.
Dem pickney deh tun grandma n grampa now sah😅😅
