I've seen several people working on mods for this. A group is remaking wc2 in reforged, and another is redoing the campaign with the promised cutscenes that were ditched. I'm proud of the community turning lemons into lemonade.

I like this! Some comments:
- Thrall walking out his house at the start while talking was neat.
- I feel the cutscene at 1:23 wasn’t necessary, though making the place more bustling and adding Naz’grel was a good touch!
- Same unnecessary cutscene at 4:20. I get you want to add a bit of flair, but I don’t feel that’s the way to do it. I prefer the playing while hearing small talk.
- 6:36 was pretty cute effects for the transformation (tho I don’t like the jump from crow to human, I prefer a more gradual transformation). Not bad. I actually like the cutscene following that too. Nice job!
Some follow up: I don’t like Jaina’s new model in the human campaign (Arthas looks a bit funny-eyed, Uther look fine), so it’d be neat if you could change that (though this taste may not be shared by everyone else).
Thank you (I'm the author of the Re-Reforged prologue). I will try to explain my reasoning behind certain choices: I added additional cutscene to give a bit more story depth to this mission. Beside that, I wanted to showcase the graphics a bit using the environmental context as guide. This is because this is supposed to be the first map of the game and you want to give the "new player" the idea of a living world and a very cinematic experience ahead of them. Some effects are hard-coded so I can't do much about them =)
@@InsaneMonsterW3RR I like the new cutscenes, but my main criticism is that they feel a bit too sluggish in pacing. If you sped up certain shots so they don't linger too much, they will flow a lot better. Too drawn out cutscenes in games, especially in the tutorial section, will make the game less fun as a result, so make sure to keep that in mind.
Also, another point of criticism I have is the final cutscene with Thrall and Medivh not even talking face to face for the last part of the conversation as well as Thrall not even looking at Medivh as he flies away like in the original. The pause when Medivh says "Human?" after Thrall speaks was a bit too dragged out and could be shortened as well.
Anyway, nice work on the mod! Looking forward to seeing more! :)
@@Frozen_Death_Knight all cutscene are skippable any time, so if one is bored he can just skip them. Anyway, tell me which one do you feel dragged most, maybe I can shorten something. In the last cutscene thrall model cannot rotate its head and body rotation didn't look as good but I'll look into it. The pause when medivh says human is instead on purpose and I really like it, so that won't change xD

Uh I have a problem, I installed Quenching V1.05 and its patch but apart from the reflections on water and ice, I don’t really see any improvement, I also tried to combine it with Reshade but I'm still not satisfied. Please, can you tell me how to get the same graphic quality as on your videos, are there any precise settings to do?

Is it possible to add this mod and play it?
Tbh The Ui feels weird, I prefer the older one because it's so uncomfortable seeing the unit's portraits have a transparent background and no border, plus the whole ui is smaller so it's hard to see movements clearly on the minimap. But overall, It was so good I'm not hating it in case you got offended on my comment. I think there was some kind of option to turn on old UI while using this mod.
