When it's clear your guys are out of sink it's up to your manager to adjust, put some bunts on, shake it up a bit, distract your opposing pitcher. Boone only does that when they're ahead. Once again Boones was dealth a great hand that could go all the way, only he can screw it up.

Red Sox haven't been too good of a team this year, but yet, the Yankees still lose the series to them. And the offense was just toxic. And 9 stolen bases allowed!? That's too many. That could've been 10! And Gleyber had no business striking out with the bases loaded and with the count 3-0.
Exactly..based loaded 3 0...down one and he choked! I became unglued after that. I never seen that happen in my life !

After tonight's loss, I'm worried about the Yankees' chances of heading to the postseason. Despite Cole, Gil, and Schmitt, the starting rotation sucks, and it was totally inexcusable for Stroman to perform despicably to a team that isn't going anywhere this season. You can't rely on Rodon and Cortez in big games, and after four blown saves, Homes is disastrous as a closer. I would rather have Mo at 54 to come back as the King Reliever than have Homes ruined one-run lead games. Brian Cashman ought to shop for a starter and Boone find ways of replacing Holmes, and it wouldn't hurt if he sends Gleyber Torres and DJ LeMahieu to the minors to remedy their offense funks. It's only June, but somehow, this series speaks volumes of the scary outcome that may follow for the Bombers before September if definite changes aren't established. I pray to the baseball Gods that the Yanks will have a winning series with the Orioles and later the Braves starting Tuesday. How is it that the Yankees lost two games this weekend to the pitiful Red Sox? Jeezaloo!!!!🤦♀
The more Stroman starts the worst he performs, seems like the new team high is over.
Yankees have a really good team. To be a great team they need a real Catcher, and a real 2nd baseman, and a 1st baseman. We needed that last year also and we put all our eggs in one basket and got Soto. Great move but we ignored the three needs that are what has cost us games this season. We can't win all 162 but they need to address those positions before playoff time.

@@joecataneo6676 Excuse me? Sleeping meaning what? I said we need 3 positions addressed before the playoffs. Catcher is one of them. Both our catchers suck on defense. Jose is a good clutch hitter with men on base. Wells is Cashman's boy toy and is the only reason he is up in the bigs. Cashman "loves his swing." The fact he can't hit I guess doesn't bother Brian. Boone playing both every other day accomplishes nothing.
@@EagleS197 meaning trevino had a bad night. Maybe any other catcher could have had the same night as aggressive as Red Sox were. I think Trevino is the best catcher in the league all around and when you listen to the interviews of the Yankees, Trevino is beloved. He’s not a problem for us. Last year was a nightmare, no Trevino last year.. idk what you expect from him but he’s not a problem. That’s just my opinion though, I’m not the manager just a fan of baseball and the Yankees. If last night became the norm then I would agree with you but anyway lets go Yankees

Let Rizzo go. He was done last year. Glyber Torres is brain dead, condolences to his agent who was expecting a big payday. Giancarlo Stanton, DJ LaMahieu and Trent Grisham are all dead weight. Shed them. Jason Dominguez is injury prone and a colossal disappointment. This team still is highly flawed. We need to start trading early before it gets late early.

Not to mention at least 1 hit in 12 of his 14 games and 6HR. He's still out here doing what he can do. Of course he's not gonna have every night, but he's still batting .299 and 1.111 OPS on the season. Just want him to stay healthy and exercise some playoff demons when the time comes. He's definitely not the reason for the last 2 losses. GO YANKEES!!!#CHASEFOR28

He’s almost set the bar too high. Hits a Home run the first inning and then strikes out three times after that and people complain. I get it to an extent, but in this era of drug testing, you can’t ask someone to stay that hot for the entire season. It’s not possible..
