I have been riding bikes 40 years, and enjoying bike RUclipsrs for about 5 years. Must say, for me TMF is the best of the lot, but I'm really impressed with this channel. I like the subtle difference that comes from the female perspective. Less of the emphasis only on power and less of the boring tech-spec and more of the riding and 'feel' for the bike then is the norm with most vloggers. As such I have subscribed......
Kate, love you reviews, so down to earth and real world. You are a breath of fresh air amongst all the bike blogs. You deserve all the kudos and I hope you go far and grow in popularity.
Im not sat on a pair of balls!!!! Oh my god that was so funny 🤣🤣🤣 to be honest you've got bigger balls than most blokes on sports bikes! (so to speak) And another great vid Kate 👍
Took delivery of the exact same M package a couple weeks ago., Apart from being restricted to 8000rpm till its broken in the initial response I have is how light it is on the bends. I have a 526lb Ninja H2 that's great on the freeway but on corners its cow tipping compared to the S1000RR. The carbon wheels probably have a lot to do with it quite literally feeling like a 600cc bike. You mentioned the clutch and you are spot on Kate. The traffic is heavy where I live and found myself stalling a few times. As you said its ON or OFF which needs more attention than I'd like. I fiddled with the adjuster ring. Perhaps the factory likes to ship this way but I discovered the ring to be at the tightest setting. After loosening it to the middle am now able to fan the clutch. Its a lot more forgiving in those stop and go rush hour trips. I'm told the ECU sets us free after 500mi. Its the only gripe I have so far. Love the scenery and the accent. Be safe always.
Could hardly wait for you to release this one since you announced recently. You did not disappoint...what an intro and closing 😱😍 luv it. Great VLoG as always, love the chatting whilst you ride. Have not been on a bike in twenty years and finally made it back this year. Been renting 1250 GS and V-Storm, so much fun. But then yesterday I escorted a Ninja1000SX across the Swiss Alps - OMG sooo much fun. Stay safe and keep 'em coming
I took a demo on one of those yesterday. I absolutely loved everything about it (apart from the naff steering lock) and that’s from an owner of a super comfortable KTM Super Adventure R! It’s the very best sports bike out there👌
I got a gen 3 this year and love it; great to tour on with aftermarket panniers, and it’ll set your pants on fire on a summer’s evening blast after work. I keep telling myself I done need to upgrade to a gen 4...but I know I will. I’m weak that way 😁 Nice chilled review - thanks!
Wow so glad I found this channel. Great to find someone who can give an honest review as someone who clearly just loves riding and knows what they're talking about! Bonus points for being a little different in the best way possible
Aha, the lovely Usernamekate! Again! Mmm, at around 1;30 in, I had a real hard time trying to decipher which I would like to manhandle first! Lol! Lovely little lady on a lovely little juice booster! Best wishes and ride safe, from Droylsdens own Ballistic BMW Bastard!!! (aka; Pilky-the little one, not the big one!)
This brings back memories. I tested the 2nd gen out on many of the same roads for a mag back in 2012 and had a great weekend on it. I think we're blessed in Manchester being central to some great areas. Cracking video, keep 'em coming :)
@@DannyT636 i have a ktm 1290 super adventure suspension is electronic so once where both on it ot adjusts itself it handles great plus the Mrs is tiny and weighs next to nothing
Have you ridden the older model with the oddball headlights? It just seemed to me to be a better road going super bike. The new model is a little more race oriented. Also just a little heads up on the brakes. Brembo bought Hayes which are made in the US. They've been making brakes for vehicles including high performance and industrial vehicles since 1946.
Compare the 2020 M package to the out going HP4. You change your mind. The new mode is very docile when you need it to be. Even unrestricted or tuned it’s still livable. It’ll do clutch ups in max power mode no problem and in low power mode your gran could ride it with a little seat padding.
@@UsernameKate and I totally agree, I rode a S1000RR at Laguna Seca a few years ago and was really impressed by how comfortable it was and well behaved at slower speeds, then turned into a fire breathing dragon when it was time to give it the beans.

Great vid Kate lovely meeting you in the shop on Monday. Went over the snake pass on the way home beautiful. Looking forward to your next track day in the fast group 👍👍
I’ve just been lucky enough to win this model bike courtesy of Rev Comps and I love it. Great video and I agree, the clutch is a little strange and is taking some getting used to.
Great vid. I’m currently in process of buying one. Had a gen 1 back in 2011. Two hour test ride on Saturday and didn’t want to give it back. Nice to hear my hometown of Northampton mentioned
Ive just done that same route from Rochdale to Sheffield on a cafe racer, the road works are still there but the views as always are epic. Horrible to ride back at night though, quite a dangerous road. Ride safe
Is that Ladybower with the drone? Took a ride up there on Friday 11th Sept from Mid Wales on the BMW XR.....stunning scenery and roads. I did fly my drone there too .:)
Great bike. Ive spent months and a lot of money modding mine - getting all the black parts carbon fibre and putting on a full system, been a great project for me this year. And a rather expensive one too to be honest. Health to enjoy it Kate !

“Jobs a carrot” brilliant, never heard that one before! Hi Kate, I’m from near Preston and thinking of purchasing a BMW S1000RR, I enquired about a test riding one last year at Preston docks BMW, but they wouldn’t let me, said I was too young! Which pissed me off to be fair! I’m 30 (so I was 29 then!) I’ve had my Suzuki GSXR 750 for 4 years, yet they wouldn’t let me test ride the S1000RR, obviously that’s made me not want to spend my money at that dealership! Would I be able to arrange a test ride at your BMW in the next few weeks!? Thanks, Kelvin.

LOL you could be right about the mask thing... 😂
Aw thank you Kate, and its my pleasure🙏
You don't realise that your videos can mean so much more to some people, than just telling us about a motorcycle... like i said, to me, your videos allow me to imagine its me on the road, seeing places ive never been to, riding bikes I could never own now and being able to ride to a much higher standard than I could in reality🤣🤣🤣
So please, keep just being you, don't change, and your fantastic personality shines through in abundance.
Have a great day Kate, and thanks again you're appreciated more than you know 🙏🥇👍
Today the first day am watching your video and I like all of em ,
Thank you 😊
It sounds really really good!
Another good video Kate
Thanks Lyn! I appreciate it as always!
Great video Kate and cute kitty 👍🏻
He's a grumpy boi
Username Kate just like me 🤦🏻😂😂😂😂
Another great video Kate, I've got the 2018 model and it has been fantastic, just bought myself a 2020 S1000XR in the Motorsport colours but I can't have it till about November, is there any chance you could do a review on the XR sometime please .....👌👍👍😁
So jealous!!!! LOVE the MSport colours! I'd love to but they keep putting tall ones on demo 😭😂
@@UsernameKate I am quite curious about your future comments on the XR as well. I used to have a 2016 XR, now a little between bikes and struggling to decide which to go test drive. Multi or XR or RR as I gathered from LCR channel that the slightly older gents can find the new RR pretty accommodating. Love your vlogs 👌👌❤️
@@pietersteyn5734 test ride them all! Your spending a chunk of money so you need to make sure your happy with your decision 😊 thanks!
