7-1 seems a bit harsh. The firs one was offside. The 2-0 is maybe the only goal in the match that is a "normal" one. All the other goals, including the one scored by Arshavin, are wondergoals that happen once in a match when you're lucky. Poor Malafeev.

There are a few recent cases of VAR disallowing these kind of goals, but I agree that it's a point of discussion. Such stupidly harsh reactions are to be expected with Portuguese people. Every time something doesn't go your way or someone has a different opinion you cry like it's the end of the world but when others are disadvantaged it's "part of the game". You people cried like hell when your goal against Serbia wasn't acknowledged because the assistant didn't see that the ball crossed the line a few millimetres (a situation that was very difficult to judge without VAR or goal line technology). It cost that assistant his job and they got loads of shit to deal with. The ref did a good job, maybe the red card for Milenković was a bit harsh but overall it was a good performance from him, no reason to have such backlash. Referees who ruined matches and matches didn't get such criticism. But when you score an offside goal against the same team a year prior or get a non existent penalty when you don't need it like a few days ago against Luxembourg it's fine. Fucking hypocrites. Just keep it civilized when talking to strangers that don't do you any harm will you?
