I really want to try these, thank you for showing them to us! The drawing at the end is amazing, and I think I might buy these. So thanks for helping me add some nice markers to my collection!
Heckin LONG video for you guys today. Sorry, there was a lot I wanted to cover in this video haha. Edit: I found a solution to the naming/swatching problem! If you get the All purpose labels (they are little, white paper circle stickers) you can fill in each circle with the corresponding color and stick them to the markers!
It'd be a pain, but you could also probably take a sharpie and label the side with a number, and the same number on the swatch. If you made a character or something and needed to be sure you used the exact colors it'd be easier to make sure it's the exact right one, not just similar
Anna Austin - I just took paper circle stickers, colored them and stuck them on to the markers I colored them with. Took about an hour, but this way I have the swatches ON the marker so I didn't even need a spare sheet of paper. I posted pics to twitter showing what I did
Creative Carrah Someone help me I'm torn I've found the normal ohuhu markers for £26 And I've found the ohuhu water based markers for £20 which one should I buy? Btw I don't care about the price and they're both the 60 set
I’d love to see the galaxy speed draw!!💜 This Video helped me clear up on how these markers work, thanks for taking ur time to record, edit, and upload this for us :D ✨ WE ARE HERE FOR U. ALWAYS
I’ve been getting into calligraphy and bullet journaling and I wanted to get a cheaper alternative to the tombow brush pens just to see if I enjoyed working with them, so I think I’m going to get these and try them out
Something really cool that you can do with these markers is dip them in water to make the color lighter for a little bit. Just slightly dip the tip of the marker in some water for 5-10 seconds and the marker will draw lighter temporarily and then go back to dark. This is similar to your blending technique. You can use it for light to dark gradients if you are just using one color. Plus, I noticed that this set does not come with a lot of lighter colors, so you can use this as a substitute.
Tysm for reviewing them! I couldnt really find anyone who reviewed them well exept u and another youtuber. I cant wait to get these once i save up. Btw your such a great artist 😊
I've wanted to try because I was using the brush nib so much but I've been loving my chisel nib so much now! Lol this is a great review and artwork though
I used circular label stickers, colored them in, and stuck them to the markers. It worked quite well! The label stickers that you can write on.. often used for pricing items :)
Get yourself some 100% cotton paper and it will NOT tear or pull up and wear out no matter how many layers you build up. Trust me when I say being expensive does not mean quality. Thanks for the in depth review!! Subscribing!!
I just got these for Christmas and I was so confused about their blending because I didn't know they were water based, so thank you for showing your method!! This really makes me want to use them now! The cons were exactly what I thought about it too, I just wrote what the cap looks like next to the swatch so I don't get too confused.
I always label things and cover the label wiht clear tape, I agree you shouldn’t have to label them they should be labeled already however that’s the first thing I’m gonna do when I get mine. Probably a number system in color order
I'm pretty sure they smear because you are using water based on water based. They don't smear with the alcohol because they have different bases, water and alcohol.
Thanks for this review. I am actually getting these soon as a. Late christmas gift. So im excited. I wonder if the brush tip works with the alcohol based markers tho. I love that they don't bleed through cuz now i can use my sketch book with them. I own ohuhu's alcohol based markers so i hope i enjoy these. Tho the skin tones are a little disappointing but the alcohol based ones are like that too so i just use my color pencils for this.
This preview is awesome X3 I got similar markers and thought that it'd be impossible for me to blend but now I think I could try to do that :3 (ok it's stupid from me that I didn't test them out yet and write this comment but well XD) and thanks to your comment, I now got another idea how I could name them! ^w^
I have the Tombow Dual Brush Pens the set of 10 and I also have the Tombow Dual Brush Pens the black and Gray set of 10 but I'm afraid of using them and making a mistake on my drawing because I don't know how to blend with theme thank u so so much for this amazing tips video I will try my best to use my Tombow Dual Brush Pens 👍💯😇💕
Kylagames 101 hello my dear friend I also love to draw a lot I'm going to get a set of tombow dual brush pens color markers the 10 color marker set i have the tombow dual brush pens Grayscale i love the 😊☺
I got the 40 set of normal ones, I saw the brush ones on Amazon. I legit thought they were fske, considering the crazy change of barrel shape, Labels, ect. But you also said they're water based? Then I'm not exactly sad about getting the Oil based chisel tip markers ( normal ones )
I have been wanting to try Ohuhu markers but the 2019 Ohuhu markers that have the brush nib are out of stock so i have been trying to find a alternative and i have! thank you for making this review 😊
I know this video was posted more than 2 years ago, but they updated the markers, they now have numbers, I don't mean to hate, I just wanted to inform the people that might be watching this at the same time as me
thank you for this video! i just got these because I just wanted to try ohuhu brand markers no matter what they were. Update: I bought them and they're not great.
If you layer them a lot, pretty easy.. they are waterbased markers and this is an old review. I've since started using them like watercolor! i usually draw on a piece of plastic with the marker first, then I dilute that ink with a paintbrush and water. Use watercolor paper
Guys i need help I'm good at drawing on paper and doing digital art, but idk what to choose a 20 dollars set of ohuhu markers or this cheap drawing tablet
Hey can you pleas anwser because I’m soo curious my question is do you need watercolor paper to use these markers because they bleed through the paper I use or just what type of paper do you use
Ohuhu markers, at least these ones, have a brush tip (similar to a brush on a paint brush) which allows varying line sizes and thicknesses. The Ohuhu also has the fineliner for extra thin lines. As far as the formula of the markers, I'd have to test that out.. I don't actually own any crayola markers I don't think.
You could use Touchfive markers, which are alcoholic markers. They are very similar to copics and significantly cheaper, I have some myself and they work great.
Someone help me I'm torn I've found the normal ohuhu markers for £26 And I've found the ohuhu water based markers for £20 which one should I buy? Btw I don't care about the price and they re both the 60 set
It really depends on your interests! Alcohol based markers blend a bit easier and that set has a larger variety of skintones. You can get a set of 80 alcohol markers for $40. OR the waterbased ones.. which you can use as watercolor to blend out/lighten the colors. I am going to probably make another video about these because I found another method of using them AFTER i posted this.
I have the same markers but I think I got a fake because the top seems to look kinda squiggly like flowers but all of mine are just circles I’ve been suspecting that they were fakes because it looks terrible on every piece of paper they look streaky they tear the paper and the brushes are bad quality plus the grays look really bad
Hello Good morning my dear friend carrah how are you this beautiful morning u are a amazing artist 🎨🎭🙋god 😇🙏👼 bless u always always my dear friend blessings✨🌟🌟✨👼🙏❤ 💙💚💕💖
I have some marker that look exactly like these but I never have used them and I went to check if they were these but turns out they weren’t Aahahahahahahahahhahahahaa *pain*
Why would you say that the negatives are that they’re water based lol... wtf??? Duh? You can’t compare water based and alcohol based markers because they’re completely different. And you obviously don’t use them the same way. You’re supposed to use them with water, not layering :/ Not insightful.
I really want to try these, thank you for showing them to us! The drawing at the end is amazing, and I think I might buy these. So thanks for helping me add some nice markers to my collection!
I have them and I got it today I recommend them

I didn't have a recording for the galaxy one, sadly.. only the girl in the strawberry dress
You dont understand how much i have got better at art because of you ♥️ thank you for ur super inspiring drawings 🎨
I’ve been getting into calligraphy and bullet journaling and I wanted to get a cheaper alternative to the tombow brush pens just to see if I enjoyed working with them, so I think I’m going to get these and try them out
Kendall Ferree did they bleed through your journal?
Lynsey Rhoads I know I’m not her, but they do not bleed through any paper c:

I've wanted to try because I was using the brush nib so much but I've been loving my chisel nib so much now! Lol this is a great review and artwork though
As I did my swatch page, I wrote numbers on the markers with a sharpee. That might wear off in time, but it's working for now.
I used circular label stickers, colored them in, and stuck them to the markers. It worked quite well!
The label stickers that you can write on.. often used for pricing items :)

Thanks for the review! I’ve been considering buying these and I’m glad i can see how they work before buying
I'm receiving mine tomorrow.
I always label things and cover the label wiht clear tape, I agree you shouldn’t have to label them they should be labeled already however that’s the first thing I’m gonna do when I get mine. Probably a number system in color order

IM A HOLOSEXUAL I HAVE THE HOLO TACO HOLODAYS COLLECTION sorry I love holo
I'm pretty sure they smear because you are using water based on water based. They don't smear with the alcohol because they have different bases, water and alcohol.
Yeah, I know. That was more clarification for those who would ask. I get a lot of questions that have obvious answers haha
I have those exact ones and I thought they were alcohol based 😭
Same ㅠ_ㅜ

I am so totally interested in the speed art! Please post it!!
I just ordered the 100 marker set and I’m really hoping there are some more options for skin tones. Thanks for the review 😀
I got the 72 pack and there are only two skin colours 😅
I have the Tombow Dual Brush Pens the set of 10 and I also have the Tombow Dual Brush Pens the black and Gray set of 10 but I'm afraid of using them and making a mistake on my drawing because I don't know how to blend with theme thank u so so much for this amazing tips video I will try my best to use my Tombow Dual Brush Pens 👍💯😇💕
Try doing the tip idea! Let the darker ink go into the tip of the lighter marker and blend that way in a circular motion
Creative Carrah I'm so so sorry I didn't get back to u sooner my dear friend I will do that my dear friend thank u so so much for your tip 😇😇😊💕💞

Incredibly helpful, time to order them myself! 😁
Anyone from 2022..?
Wow your art has changed- :0
Ahhhhhh great video
I love your drawings so much! Keep it up! ❤️
I don't know if I should get these or the basic chisel and fine tip markers...
Get these I have chiseled tips and fine point and I also have these I recommend brush
I believe their chisel duel tips are alcohol based and these are water based. So that would probably be a bigger influence for me.
Yeah, sadly Ohuhu does not currently have any brush tip alcohol based markers.
Aye! Brush tip for our cheap markers!
Ooh! Cool!
I have been wanting to try Ohuhu markers but the 2019 Ohuhu markers that have the brush nib are out of stock so i have been trying to find a alternative and i have! thank you for making this review 😊
Im getting these with bday money and this helped thanks

awesome review I just found you from twitter.
I know this video was posted more than 2 years ago, but they updated the markers, they now have numbers, I don't mean to hate, I just wanted to inform the people that might be watching this at the same time as me
I bought these a few days ago on Amazon and I just received them today and I wanted to see what other people thought about them

Can you please do a video using water to lighten the colours xx
mine streak REALLY badly. any tips?
i bought these markers due to being allergic to alcohol, im wondering if u have any tips on actually using them lol
How easily do these tear paper?? Im planning on getting them
If you layer them a lot, pretty easy.. they are waterbased markers and this is an old review. I've since started using them like watercolor! i usually draw on a piece of plastic with the marker first, then I dilute that ink with a paintbrush and water. Use watercolor paper

Hey can you pleas anwser because I’m soo curious my question is do you need watercolor paper to use these markers because they bleed through the paper I use or just what type of paper do you use
What is the difference between ohuhu and crayola markers they are both water based

Wait, they are water based? I was gonna use them as practice copics... wah.
You could use Touchfive markers, which are alcoholic markers. They are very similar to copics and significantly cheaper, I have some myself and they work great.
Those markers have numbers on them now
Someone help me I'm torn
I've found the normal ohuhu markers for £26
And I've found the ohuhu water based markers for £20 which one should I buy? Btw I don't care about the price and they re both the 60 set
It really depends on your interests! Alcohol based markers blend a bit easier and that set has a larger variety of skintones. You can get a set of 80 alcohol markers for $40.

Creative Carrah thx very much
Creative Carrah I'm buying both
Mwhahaha! I bought both. RIP Allowance money 😖

Hey I really need ur help... Are these markers good for coloring?does it blend? Because I ordered these but I'm also not sure if it's good.
I also ordered the same one I think there good
They frayed as soon as I used them ;(
Yo did anyone noticed that there is only 59 colors on the color sheet
I have this and since there is literally little skin tone markers, I’ll just buy them separately, iss okayy
I have these
I HAVE THE EXACT SAME PENS
Oml the tripod
I have the same markers but I think I got a fake because the top seems to look kinda squiggly like flowers but all of mine are just circles I’ve been suspecting that they were fakes because it looks terrible on every piece of paper they look streaky they tear the paper and the brushes are bad quality plus the grays look really bad
How much? I love you! I’m a new subscriber
They are roughly $22 for 60 markers.. Did I forget to mention that in the video? That's embarrassing
Ah I mentioned it around 13:30
I'm late, you've probably bought them already, but there are cheaper options for 19 or 20 dollars.
Thank you so much 😭😭😭
Will these markers last on shoes?
4 years too late. No, it won't. You should buy acrylic markers thay are waterproof.
Hello Good morning my dear friend carrah how are you this beautiful morning u are a amazing artist 🎨🎭🙋god 😇🙏👼 bless u always always my dear friend blessings✨🌟🌟✨👼🙏❤ 💙💚💕💖
