Taking the picture of the order is a good idea, but one additional step would be to print out the order and check off the items as you pull them. My wife does this with her business (as she ships a lot of orders with mostly 10+ SKUs) and it definitely minimizes errors, and then she includes that checked off order sheet in the package. It does use printer resources, but it makes a huge difference for us at least.
Love it guys! I started selling on eBay after working up the courage and have made $500 in sales in 2 days. Hope to be 100 thag by sometime next year.

I would suggest Pick lists and buy a bunch of bins to place the orders in. So you can mass pull orders and more efficiently pack and ship them quickly. Sterilize bins are fairly cheap and invaluable in efficiency.

You can also order boxes through grainger and get them shipped to the office near you for free. I've been doing that for the past few months and have saved over $100 just in shipping alone.

Does WhatNot force you to use USPS even on large packages? are the rates discounted like ebay? Just curious as that could eat up some margin for sure.
It does by default, unsure if you're allowed to make your own label with UPS/Fedex and have them input it into the system for the customer to see. It shouldn't eat into margin much anyways since on whatnot buyers pay shipping on their end, you don't pay shipping out of your sales.
@@TachibanaTengoku buyers pay $7 for the first item and $1 for each additional item.. that doesn’t even cover shipping a 2 pound package never mind several 20x20x20 boxes of games

Shipping is estimated based off weight, the buyer pays the full shipping charge for the first item and then a cheaper rate for each additional item win during the same stream. They only offer usps right now to keep it simple, though you could email them for UPS labels that you buy on your own to get reimbursed on later. We have never done the ups thing. I think it all balances out in the end. Whatnot makes money on some labels and loses money on others.,. We get the same amount no matter what
@@catrpcrew Thanks for taking the time to chime in. Must be lucrative. I just know I have personally been bitten in the butt by large shipping costs when using USPS. If I had business that large and had the need I would funnel all of those orders through ship station so you have one singular place for every single order to show up.

Do you think you will eventually get off of What Not so you can maximize your profits on Ebay and not need so much money to recoup your insane buying spree from the game hoarder, Hobby Shop Ron, and the insane amount of goods received on your buy list? Just curious if you think blowing everything out on What Not is actually worth in in the long run versus your already profitable proven Ebay and Amazon sales?
Very worth it. Processing time per item is reduced and margins are kept similar with lower processing expenses. It’s not the way to sell everything … but for the items that make sense, it is a great way to move them for us

Last time I buy a sale off these guys. Paid $75 for an item and the whole package came damaged and the item is basically torn apart. I would advise to NOT partake in these auctions.

There's a bunch of shelves not just 1, so they'd have to keep walking back to the monitor over and over again. A cart carrying a computer and monitor would be a better idea than that, but a phone is still better.

Sounds like chase has sucker in his mouth in the beginning haha. Was surprised to not see more bubble mailer must have been lot more multiples than I was expecting. Amazing amount of shipments. Recently switched to americanbubbleboy for bubble wrap they been awesome for prices and speed. Was buying on amazon but directly was cheaper and faster.
