I need some advice. When I hammer my rivet in, the post either damages the cap (by denting it) or just flat out pierces through the cap. Also, after "setting" my rivet, I can easily pull both ends of the cap apart. I'm using the same tools, and I know for certain that my rivet post is not too long. Any suggestions ?
Hi Martin, thank you for reaching out! It could be an issue with the amount of force you're applying when setting the rivet or the kind of rivets you are using. It's hard to pinpoint without some visual context. Please email us at info@sailrite.com and send us photos or videos of your rivets and the issues you've had with them. We'd love to help!
