- This exploration of expansive & contractive forces in our sensory experience is deep-yet-subtle. Great for experienced meditators who would like to go deeper.
Stephanie Nash recorded this during a May 2016 residential retreat in Southern California and wanted to share it immediately. Thus, (sorry) no video filters or titles cards - this is the raw video - but you'll have your eyes closed anyway. It's a good one. Guided by a master. Enjoy.

Wonderful practice! Thank you Shinzen
great meditation, It's pretty interesting to feel the contraction and expansion right after especially related to sight and movement
i was called downstairs to eat a roast dinner halfway through this meditation and for a split second my mind interpreted the potatoes as bubbles in an equilibrium of expansion and contraction ahahahahahaha
beatifull. Thank you shinzen. Longest meditation i ever did :)
question: when shinzen refers to center, can the center just be a point in the body ? and maybe the pulling is in other parts of the body.
For example: I had these contractions of some sort in my lower back, that felt like the center, but then I'd feel the cold in my feet, could that be interpreted as the pulling/expansion ?
Sounds like you're on the right track.
@@Rover08 thx!

What are the instructions?
Next time a good sound recording engineer would be of great benefit to us listeners
It's all just more expansion and contraction - birds, traffic, breathing, rustling- coming, going, expanding, contracting- pulling off center....
@@Rover08 Hah! You could see that as a bad thing or you could just see it as the basic ordering principle =)
@@Rover08 Correct, my ears were aching nonetheless.
@Shinzen Videos - dude. You have to meet Bashar (channeled by Daryl Anka) and here's a bit of the guy in new Japanese posts. Maybe Chinese.
deep bow
Great.
