- My tutorial explaining how to make a two colors Cobra Weave bracelet with plastic buckle.
I'am using 550 paracord and 5/8"/16mm buckle (inner width for paracords). Size 40*23mm
In tutorial i was using paper knife, but would be much easier with good scissors.
I was looking for the best way to join two colors without it looking like an afterthought. This was perfect! I also liked the way you hid the joined part by putting the fused section slightly down so that it's hidden in the bracelet. Looks great! (Love the colors you picked, too.)

For those asking how much cord to use. I've found 9 ft total is plenty for a 7" wrist. So 4.5 feet of each color, then join them together.
Instructions are very clear
I wove the bracelet in 10 minutes.Great video!!!

I love the way the colors are joined but it feels like I've spent a hour trying to join 2 colors. This is my first time trying to make a 2 color paracord bracelet
so if i follow correctly a 7" bracelet would require 2 lengths of 3.5ft mended together to give you one 7' piece?

can You also do this method for making a dog leash with 2 karabijners. with the length that would and then attach to the 1st karabijner and than the length to the second karabijner and then weaving the rest as you did the bracelet

I think you use about 6 or 7 feet of paracord

godwyn walker Yes! maybe not too quickly if you used super glue (Gorilla glue) but I mostly burned it so if I needed it I can quickly use it

Do you need to use a lighter?
+Haley Bond Yes. I use a butane lighter, it's faster and hotter, but you have to have a gentle touch. You could use something else hot, but nothing really works as perfectly as melting it and then flattening it with a smooth side of a metal butane lighter or the metal on a pair of scissors (or a flat tool).

I've seen the manny method, and unless you have exactly the same tools that he uses, you can't do it and end up wasting cord.

Does anyone know how to make the bracelet smaller once it is made? I made mine slightly too large.
So, you just kind of wave the flame over the paracord to induce melting, instead of burning the ends and inserting into sleeve? Can you use super glue instead of a flame?

Perimeter is like a boarder around something. So 7 perimeters of your wrist is 7X the length of your wrist
