Engineering on EU currently only makes profit if you do the farming your self (mining) And crafsim only shows profit with the parts, if you setup the correct prices in it manually for all the ore.
F , finally people are looking at ENG parts been making stupid gold from this and alch, legit turned the 5 million gold I won from kaychak to just over 30million since then
Peoples need to understand that videos like this doesnt help you, because many ppls start to do same things and prices are flying down. If you want to make money, you should monitoring trends by your own. Watch videos that help you understand how to monitoring AH trends, profits, etc instead of watch videos that show you what to craft.
I don't have much gold as a returning player I have about 10K (Was working on Herbalism/Alchemy until I realised just making Alchemy items was draining my gold). Is there any point in me trying any of these kinds of guides having sub 50K? Feel like my only way to get going is to buy a token first.
I have the same issue with this I had with another content creator, I followed the links, TSM/TSM desktop addon, linked all the EU realms, made sure auctionator links TSM, scan the auctions, run craftsim, do recipe search, it says an item will make 220g, run to auction house and the item is being sold for 127g, run auction house scan re-check it's linked to TSM make sure the data is being pulled, still the wrong answer. posted some items on a full/busy realm expecting to sell some, Amazon at the door, made a drink, sat back down 1800 orders undercut you, they must use a bot, repost and as I repost the orders are undercut on the fly as I am posting, the amount reposted must be eating into their profit because its big numbers minute by minute.
Eng reagents and crafts aren't really useful for other professions and serves as a resource dead end. Atleast Tailoring has polishing cloths for Jewelcrafting. It also isn't a renewable BiS profession like Alchemy (at least the conc builds work). There's some interest in bombs but Tinkers are dead right now (and not renewable) and as a result, there are no interest in Bracers and how very little reagents they consume (for non Engs). Engineering is really tricky without a renewable raid and M+ item/s to vacuum Eng reagents. There's the new ressurect item but T2's work well enough vs their T3 counterpart. The only way I got Eng working in DF was by making a crap load of tertiary reagents (bolts, etc.) because noone wanted to make Engs and just bought my reagents to save time. Bombs and fireworks worked for some reason. Hopefully, people are still lazy and went with their bazilionth CD tailor (from MoP remix) and left Eng alone.
Same story as in Dragonflight. Every bird singing the same song. Engineering is The. Worst. Profession. Ever. No. Gold. In. It. Just find your market. There is always gold to be found in some step of the crafting tree.
It is a market that has green stuff in craftsim but still manages to be on the red when you sum it up. You craft it 100x and you sell 5, then you repost, and sell 5 more and repost BLA BLA BLA.... Then you notice you posted 50% of your stock like 10 times and your in the red. And btw, if you know you will destroy a market, just don't make a video, but I guess internet fame is addictive.
Don't post 100 at a time, craft a 100 or more and post 5-10 at a time, come back again post another 5-10 when you are relisting other things. I send everything to a banker toon put big surpluses in warband bank and list a bunch of small chunks of everything outside of dust, raw gems, vials, potions etc. those you can list in larger numbers.
