problem with air cooled diesels is they are gawdawful noisy. most engines designed for stationary use, do not fuel well in varying load applications... which makes them smoking pigs. Of course, it needn't be that way.
Thats a shame ..might make an interesting bike to ride ,say from Lands end to John O'Groats...cheap on fuel.
I know this bike, met the owner at Much Marcle Steam Rally in 2022, I had my BSA M21 on display.
Would have liked to see it running.
