thank you very much for sharing this informative video; are the toe in and lean out bike specific numbers or is a general rule for all bikes? Thank you! PS: I am looking to fit a Watsonian GP sidecar on a Triumph America 😎
Hello Marian, these numbers are specific for the Ural, but I reckon they are a good base for you to start.. let me know when you have the car fitted I can offer some tips to get the rig tracking correctly. Not sure if the Triumph comes with a steering damper, this is a consideration you should also factor into the install 👍 Cheers Frank..
@@FrankBNourishYourLife thank you for your reply, I just did the frame restoration and all electric connections; right now I am waiting for Watsonian to post me the bike specific fitting kit and I will have a go from that point; I ll keep you posted! Cheers !
Unfortunately the Urals sold with the sidecar on the left hand side of the bike like in UK and Australia do not come with 2 wheel drive! the power take off is only produced for bikes with the sidecar on the right (its a shame but they still a capable bike :)

Just one more the angle front to rear of the sidecar frame. Or is it level?
Sidecar frame is fixed to the bike and is level 👍
Thank you so much for the video,as a new sidecar owner too much information is never enough..Any more videos planned?
None planned Paul, if you would like any specific info don’t hesitate to ask 👍
Curious - doesn’t the tire tread affect the alignment of the straight edge?
No sir.. ‘Straight as a Die’

Great video - thanks! I like your shorty exhaust... just took the cats out? Looks good!
Hello Alan, thanks for that... yes just removed the cats. Not much louder but breaths a little better and looks really good :)
Totally agree, Frank. If I had of known that, I might have done that instead of getting a two into one high pipe!
