We love your chitter chatter. I had to wear a clear patch with a cotton wool eye pad for one day and then I had to sleep with patch and cotton wool for 7 days. I had to use eye drops. My eyes are much much better now. But I could swim for 4 to 6 weeks. I am using the pool at the gym.

That is beautiful!! My Cataract Surgery was wonderful I can see 20/20 and it was worth it! I had to wear a clear Eye patch. The first eye done made me be able to see right away. My big thing was seeing colors again! It still amazes me how much color and details I was missing with the cataracts! It is a blessing to be able to see those!

I'm not sure if I commented in this video but I did one other that you were talking about the eye surgery! I was legally blind for 5 years! I couldn't imagine how life-changing the surgeries would be! I consider myself an artist and when they chiseled away the thick cataracts and I started seeing for the first time! All I could say was wow! Congratulations! I was life-changing! I'm so excited for you!

Love these flip pockets, the papers are beautiful! I feel for y'all waiting to get people to work! I live out in the country and we have a septic tank, last summer it took 2 weeks just for a septic guy to come LOOK at the job to be done and another 3 weeks for thim to come out to do it, so I had to play Little house on the prairie" for 5 weeks! But we made it thru and it sure does give you an appreciation for indoor plumbing!! Hang in there and keeping you in my prayers for your next surgery!

E, bless your hearts! I can totally relate to all the construction 🚧 issues y’all are experiencing now. Last year, but, it was at my/our discretion, we did a complete remodel of our main floor…😳🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️5 months-January 30, 2021-July 1, 2021!! We didn’t have a kitchen from February through June…talk about getting tired of eating out🤦🏻‍♀️😚🙌🏻!! The entire main floor was a complete mess for so long, I thought it was going to become permanent. And, I, like you, am a ‘take charge, get ‘er done ✅’ kind of gal😆😜👍- I don’t like idleness, things left undone, or things half done-I always want everything in its place, organized, and completely in order! And, yes, the same occurrences are happening in GA, as you’re experiencing in AL! No one wants to work😳😔🤦🏻‍♀️!! There’s so much building and construction going on, that you can’t get the people you need WHEN you need them-or, they say they’ll be there a certain day/time, and NEVER SHOW, or come when they feel like it-that was part of the reason for the delay in completing our project in a timely manner! If we had not had a 2nd suite on the 2nd floor to live in (our master suite is on the main level), we would have had to stay at a hotel for temporary housing while going through this remodel. We had walls removed, doors relocated, closed up some openings, and opened others. We moved our laundry room completely across from one side of the house to the other side, near our master bath, and did a total remodel/addition to our master suite, did away with our sunroom that was part of our master suite, and enlarged the master bath, plus added a huge glass shower, all new custom cabinets and vanity, and relocated and extended our master closet! All new custom kitchen cabinets, added a huge pantry with floating shelves, rearranged the entire kitchen, removed walls in the breakfast room and dining room, added a huge island with seating, removed wall to great room to have open-concept kitchen and living area! There was so much dust and MESS for 5 months, that I thought I’d NEVER make it through! People in and out, constantly, doors open, doors boarded up, cold air coming in, then it got hot 🥵, no air 🤦🏻‍♀️😝, couldn’t run ceiling fans due to all the dust, saws going all the time, or loud hammers, etc. I just about lost it…then, finally, it began to come together-did a lot of praying, and had to be patient, then when the final days came, I couldn’t have been happier! It was worth all the mess, time, and $$ (I think😳😜🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️)! It’s so open, easy to cook, get to everything easier, and we are truly enjoying it NOW- but, one month into demolition, I said to my husband, what have we done??? He said, what do you mean, WE??? This was all YOUR idea!! 😆🤗🤗He was right…it totally was-but, now that it’s behind me, so glad we did it, and, that it’s done! I’m so sorry that your circumstances are a bit different causing all the renovations and inconvenience, but when it’s finished, hopefully, you’ll be happy with the end results! Glad your surgery was a good experience, E! Tickled that your vision is so much improved! Praying that your 2nd upcoming surgery goes equally as well, or even better! Loved your comments about all the chit-chattering during your video-😆👍😜🥰You keep it real, E! I think you and I have a lot in common, and that’s why I just love tuning in to watch your videos (and, Melina’s)!! It’s like family-GA and AL are a lot alike!! 😆🤗👍🙌🏻😝Hang in there…this too shall pass! Glad Brooklyn got her dental contraption out! Now, get that sweet kid her popsicles💕😜 😝😆🙌🏻😜🤣👍🙌🏻!! Ha! Ha! Until next visit/video, take care, rest when you can, and know you all are in my prayers! Love this video. You’re beautiful and so talented, E! 💐🤗✅✝️🙏🏻🙌🏻🙏🏻💕

Talking about your eye op. I had both done same day. Also only 24 hr clear patch. I told my daughter the first thing i noticed was how my cleaning up was not up to standard so my new vision cost me days of cleaning " properly". But its a blessing. I did have lazer treatment a month later. But thats it. Good luck for your next one
Love these tucks. Im in RSA.💕

O Miss E - I just love these folio flip-outs. How wonderful that your colors are shining so bright and it will be even better when you get your other eye done! On top of that--this time you can even look forward to it because now you know what to expect and have no fear or added stress. Bless little Miss Brooklyn's heart. I had a palette extender before my braces (late in life I might add) and I know how painful they can be!! Hugs and blessings.

Love these pockets! So sorry to hear about your house woes. My husband is a contractor and he just finished a siding and roofing job that took nearly twice as long to finish. One reason was because of all the rain but he also has very little help. He would love to hire more help but can't find anyone who wants to work. It has been tough since the dreaded you know what. Praying that everything works out for you soon. So happy that your surgery went well and that you can now see what your doing. Lol.

I had my first eye cataract surgery 6 days ago and I had a clear patch that I could take off when I got home, but I had to wear it for the first night! I never felt a thing apart from a little pressure at the start. The difference in my sight is phenomenal, I’ve gone from seeing through a grey fog to seeing in bright colour. I had my surgery here in Scotland and my other eye surgery can’t come soon enough. If anyone is not sure about getting the surgery I would highly recommend it, it literally changes your world xxx💕

I once labeled this smarty-pants (very cocky) doc with having frock-a-tude (attitude). I was corrected - they wear “smocks”. Okay, smock-a-tude. So, gee, how does THAT fit here? I dunno. Anyway, I saw your first vid back last night. So good to “see” you!!! And I’m watching today’s. Always such nice work!! I think I’ve mentioned I’m just starting this junk journaling. I’ve been making stuff but it doesn’t seem to be working really well. I guess I need to do a kit?
And I agree, bedside manner vs expertise and ability I’ll stick with the latter. As long as we can communicate. Take care!!
