C#/D accordion: Simple waltz basses - Morning Has Broken

Basic bass accompaniment for simple waltzes. Aimed at beginners or those starting to explore the left hand. Sorry about the camera angle - bass buttons slipping out of view in some sections. Next clip will be more professional, I promise!

Thanks Stiamh - interesting video as usual. I'm not fan of oom-pah bass playing would there be an alternative method.

Hi John. I'm not a great fan of it either. The art of course lies in making it sound subtle - watch Jackie Daly playing The Bluemont Waltz for an example. I do say in the intro that I think the basic waltz pattern should be learned, and after that you can try other things, like using the bass notes only, holding long chords - see what suits you.

Classic Stiamh - never actually just plays the complete tune for you to hear it - no doubt becuase this would mean he wouldn't be able to hear his own voice for like 30 seconds...
