He’s never been one of my favorite skaters but this is by far one of my favorite performance of him. Much respect to be able to perform like this at 40 ❤😅
The camera jumped so often it broke up the continuity of the performance. Head, feet, long shot. Seldom longer than 3 seconds on any move. Shades of River Dance.
Agreed! Hard to watch with all the screen flipping. Very interesting program though, I feel like Kurt is one of very few skaters who can pull this off.
This explains the separation i have from Scotty and Kurt, both incredible skaters. However, Scotty's choreography came from skate, and Kurt's came from dance. That makes Kurt more stilted. And it doesn't translate as well. Kurt, being taller, could draw out the longer lines, but Scotty could draw out the skating lines.
Kudos to him for taking risks and trying new things. Kurt is my all time favorite skater! But for a professional ballerina and choreographer, this piece sucked imo! It looks disjointed, unemotional, and sloppy. The horrendous filming and editing added to the dislike of this performance.
Superhuman achievement. So much respect for this incredible man!!
Spectacular - so original. I don’t think people realize how much more skill this took than more trad choreography. What a fantastic skater
Stunning! There are few on the planet who could have done this so well. Kurt will always be my favorite.
Beautiful piece of choreography but...sorry it looks like he is "marking" it. The element of 'dynamics' falls short
That was amazing!! WOW! So much talent and courage . Beautiful.😁
There will never be another Kurt or Scott!! Beautiful peice
Wow...amazing moves ...powerful show of athleticism ...Way to go Kurt!
Great footwork which is Kurt’s signature! Very mucho! It takes more expertise and energy than a jump routine.
Always wow and WOW 💕♥️💕
Sharon here: As one of our Canadian relatives would say, "Holy Doodle" ... which I would change to, "Holy Dude-le". What a masterful display ~
Kurt Browning, is a fine athlete to be able to pull this off. He knows the ice well. Knows how to perform. Knows how to deliver..
He’s never been one of my favorite skaters but this is by far one of my favorite performance of him. Much respect to be able to perform like this at 40 ❤😅
43... You should watch Nyah. That's one of my favorites.
He has always been my favorite skater.
I would LOVE to watch this program again... with an editor and cameramen that aren't hyperactive & frantic
The camera jumped so often it broke up the continuity of the performance. Head, feet, long shot. Seldom longer than 3 seconds on any move. Shades of River Dance.
true, kurt browning is THE dancer and skater, not the camera; when will they ever learn
This was an intriguing number, but I hated the way it was filmed. As Fred Astaire said, dance (or skating) should be filmed showing the entire body.
Agreed! Hard to watch with all the screen flipping. Very interesting program though, I feel like Kurt is one of very few skaters who can pull this off.
@@singsongeric I agree! Kurt is my favorite male skater. He can do the most extraordinary things on the ice!
@@singsongeric too much like the way they filmed River Dance! Head, feet, body shot. Can't really see the performance that way.
I give this a thumbs up for him taking the challenge. And I give it 5 thumbs down for the lousy filming. THAT just made me angry and frustrated.
💕
Just a drum and Kurt's skating. Beautiful. I am not sure if this is aboriginal drumming or Japanese, but a joy to hear and see.
I looked it up, the drumming is Japanese.
Very odd number but I respect him trying something different.

I disagree. Stilted is not very complimentary for perhaps the best male skater of all time.
Camera operator should go to jail
Why have so many male skaters gone bald ?
Stress???
Most men do, those who don't are exceptions, at least in caucasians.
Because males go bald, profession notwithstanding. LOL

They must think they add tension to the filming by doing it that way. Seems like this trend started with River Dance. Yuch!
This is just stupid skating without a shirt. Its suppose to be cutting edge but it's just asinine. He needs to fire his choreography too.
Figure skating is art so he can skate with what ever the program and music require
