How to Create Transparent Logos in Photoshop | Logo Design Tutorial

- In this photoshop tutorial we will learn how to transform your regular logos into transparent glass like logos. Super simple process, all we will use is blending options, also known as layer styles. Mainly we will focus on bevel and emboss. At the end of tutorial i will also show you how to quickly apply same effect to some other logo in just few seconds, so you don't have to entire process again and again.
Tip: i recommend that you don't use any logos that have very thin lines in them or else you will have to adjust setting according to that, also sometimes it might not work at all.

To everyone who does not have valley-low option in contours, do this.
click the little arrow next to your contour box, it will open little window and show you all the contours you have.
After that click little gear icon on right corner of that window and select last option that says "contours".
A box will pop on your screen, select "append".
This will show you all the hidden contours :)

That is an awesome look! FYI you can also save each layer style into the Layer Styles tab so you can do this effect in the future without opening the original file.

Photoshop CC doesn't have these options in contours and has no gear icon to click on to add to presets. do you have any sources to download more of the contour editor presets?

Video for putting your own softs on or is that possible. I can softbox so would like to up load my own softs.
image size you used does matter for making the effects since you mention bevel and emboss size in pixels must be XXX, then if I use a much bigger or much litter image the effect cannot look well.

Nice tutorial, but I don't have a "valley low" contour, where can I find it?
same here. It is not listed in photoshop 2020. We cant even get assed the damn bevel
I made a custom contour. I just followed the slopes on his video and named it Valley Low same with deep slope
@@joshualewis8145 I found out i was missing the ones he used too. What I did was;
going to the contour box and clicked on the arrowhead, then the gear icon, where you will find the option Contours (last one on the list) and click it, then just OK it and it should pop up with valley - low and etc.
