The story behind...
Iqra Primary School is a school in slough which is full of many talented children and where enrichment opportunities are important in developing young pupils and raising aspirations.
The choir and Umar Salaams (music teacher in the school) got together one day to create a song - A song that has made the children appreciate humanity, brought them closer to their beliefs and opened their eyes to the beauty of life - this song is called “Faith”.
From dedicating their Friday afternoons to choir sessions, writing, structuring and rehearsing the song to spending time at Acton recording studios where they got the opportunity to sing, record and put together their song with the support of a well experienced sound engineer named Gareth. Finally devoting their time to filming the video for their song at various locations. They have worked incredibly hard, showing passion and commitment at every stage and deserve to be recognised for their efforts.
