Just last January, got my first bike after I stopped riding for 8-6 years after a bad wreck on a CRF110 at just 8, now 14. My first bike is my CRF150RB, raised the forks since I'm so short, just after THREE months of fixing the bike after it was supposed to be "just a clutch handle", 2,000 dollars later I was being put in holes, one behind, one underneath my back tire, under the motor, under my front tire, and then in front of me. Took around 3-4 times to get going and not stalling out. Now, just a few weeks ago, I was able to hold 3 250s and give an 85 male rider a hard time (I'm a girl, not a boy). Accomplished my fastest turn so far, had a half foot of roost behind me coming out. Then, previously in October before my birthday and before I got a 23 KX85, rode a CRF450 (not a bike for a green rider I would recommend) and a KX250. So far, I have been the quickest female girl rider (that doesn't skip doubles or other jumps). So far, I've only seen 3 girls and just about every two weeks we go to Styx or go on trails. Now, if I get enough rpm on my bike after the power band (not jetted exactly right but doesn't have an awful bog) I can every once in a while, hold a half foot wheelie for 100 foot with me on the gas tank. Doing high speed runs basically touching the number plate, bike picks up in 3rd. And everybody chooses the 85 over the "evil red bike". At least of now...they don't know we took the washer out:)
No offense... But what type is it? Even a MX bike, like a 150R or modern YZ85 (after '18) can be turned into a trail bike, if needed, just put a washer in it or even change out the 150R carb to a CN250 clone. Just gotta rework some hoses and use electrical tape. But the float does stick and winter, gets kinda nasty rejetting, so we put the old carb back in. With the 250 clone, produces around the same as an 18-horse bike (including the FMF, dunno about the stock pipe). With the stock carb, if everything is stock, 24 horse. Definitely less forgiving with clutching and a lot more two-strokey, more than a modern power-valve 85 with a washer.
