Tawanchai's aim was for dropping David Kiria's right guard. The plan was to drop his hand and open way for head kick. David knew this and wouldn't give up his right guard while finding an open in Tawanchai's defense to send his fist in as a hard hitter. But to any one's surprise, before the plan was completed, the last of Tawanchai's endless repeated kicks that aim to drop the guard managed to crush David's arm bone in first hand.

Twanchai is a smart fighter, knowing his vulnerability to head punches so he tried to neutralize his opponent right arm with very powerful and repetitive kicks. Keeping arm close to the torso helps absorb "some" of the blows, well analyzed by Kru (Guru) Neil.

David is a south paw so this wasn't as easy a task as we thought. Tawanchai, as a south paw kicker got to aim at Kiria's right arm to open way for head kick. But meanwhile he got to avoid a chance that David can reach and storm him with left hand.
