Even though I am enjoying watching your videos, I think you are giving away the last jewels of this beautiful country. Which means, more tourists, higher prices, more plastic on the beaches. I've been coming to Thailand since the mid 80's, and it is getting harder and harder to find that off the beaten path backpacker vibe island that many love. Let travelers do their own exploring like in the days before RUclips. Please, be mindful and don't ruin it! Thank you!

@@gchow6009 Had a great time! Rented scooters. Enjoyed all the different restaurants on the island, many good ones to choose from. Beaches not the greatest here. But quiet, and easy to find total privacy...

I'm loving the nostalgia here, but I had to jump in the comments with the thing about the first 7/11 in 2018? I was there 2007, and I was in 7/11, which is very close to the pier really.

I was there about ten years ago. Worlds apart from Phuket. The 7/11 was there back then. It was the only place with AC. God that felt good.

C'est pas les plus belles plages de Phuket mais c'est un endroit exceptionnel avec des gens d'une gentillesse exceptionnelle.

What kind of drone do you guys use?
I'm planning on going there in January 2020 . Would you recommend I stay same place as you did. ? 4 -5 nights with a day trip to Koh Yao Yai. Love your vlogs. Thanks & safe travels
koh yao yai i would say is not the more rustic of the islands it is where they filmed mechanic resurrection,but i agree ,the island is very quiet and one of my favourite places i have been in thailand ,i will go back again,just beautiful and relaxing and the people who are mainly muslim are very friendly,hire a motorbike and explore the island just brilliant

I first learned about Koh Yao Noi through Little Grey Box's channel here on RUclips, as I was doing research for places to explore on my fist trip to Thailand next month. When was this video filmed btw ? I'm hoping I can make it there in late August, when rainy season it supposed to be at it's worst(crossing my fingers !). How is moving around if you don't driver or ride a motorbike ?
We saw some songthaews transporting people but we never took them since we had the bike. We love Thailand regardless if it's rainy season or not 😍🇹🇭Always worth a visit!

Can you tell me about the drone registration you did? Did you register it at all? and what insurance company did you use (if at all) ? :)) thanks
Drone laws are a touchy subject. They are constantly changing. As we’re not officials and probably not the best to give legal advice on drone piloting, our recommendation is to check online before your trip to see if there are any new laws or requirements for flying. I can tell you that we've never had an issue, anywhere we've been, with airport security trying to confiscate our drone. Hope this helps! Safe travels!
