I think the thatcher ban is getting kinda pointless with other attackers being able to bring emp’s, and I’ve been having a great time with kali recently.
Thatcher still has a MASSIVE radius compared to the mini EMP and one more of them. Mini EMP will open a wall, but Thatcher will turn off everything in a huge radius, like if you need to nade a room and Jaeger ADS are all around.
It’s just a comfort ban.

I always thought banning him excessively was pointless cuz of impact EMPs but the fact that his EMPs can basically cover an entire room and can also still disable stuff a floor below or above is kinda nuts.

@@Patches_Gaming his is MUCH bigger and he has a LOT more than the secondary emps. Plus you are better off having thatcher doing his work instead if you have him on your team comp. Meaning you can swap your alt emp grenades for the other equipment utility.
He's not good anymore, only thing is his gun is insane. Osa is literally better, more varied utility and a far better weaponry. Similar story for gridlock. Siege community just doesnt really like change, so they interpret meta differently. That's also another reason Blackbeard got nerfed so heavily, people think headshots are the be-all end-all weapon stat
@@TheChocoboRacer nah he’s still good. Almost all of the defenders use electronic devices and thatcher being able to disable those devices for a good amount of time will give you some free space to use your utility against your opponents and sweep them up once it works.
If you break open the floor while someone’s planting (like at the end of this vid), it kicks them off defuser automatically. Just wanted to mention bc you said “they got off it pretty fast”

would it make sense to give iq the desert eagle or one of the other high powered pistols because her ability requires she have out her side arm?
How would that change make any difference? She can already shoot through floors and walls to destroy gadgets, and even PEOPLE if they're Vigil or holding the defuser disabler. I'd rather take more bullets to spam them than have 7 shots with massive recoil AND it blows open holes for them to see me through.

Thats why operators like Kali are usually asked to be reworked, the fucking sniper needs to be "checked" every now and then, besides of stomping people down, and many, many many sinergies with every encounter.
Besides of having characters with unique powers, we have NPC carriying a gun and a "thing"
I think if they give IQ emp impacts she might be played over thatcher in some situations, as she would do a similar job, while also having an LMG and a speed of 3.

He is usually picked to help open a wall, but for example: Chalet basement; any ADS proximity alarms, Banshees, will also be disabled, meaning semi free entry if the team uses smokes or flashes or frags while the abilities are disabled.
Another problem is Ace, it is ULTRA easy to bandit trick a thermite, but Ace will at the very least create a line of site, not vaultable, but still a danger zone.
you should try the kapkan double trap glitch, where you place a trap, and right as the white bar end animation is playing, you place another trap and it will put it inside the other trap, making it more concealed. You cannot move your cursor when placing the second trap though, as it will not work.

His EMP’s are much larger and he can still bring a secondary gadget (namely, claymores), where other ops lose extra utility to bring EMP’s that are much weaker….
Nevertheless I still agree. People could take out an op that brings much more to the board besides an EMP (which frankly, people only use to open hard walls in most situations) like Osa, or a hard breach op like Ace or Thermite to reduce the effectiveness of the hard breach. At this point it’s just a comfort ban more than anything cause the Siege community is afraid to do something different

If you considering Fallout gameplay you shouldn't really worry about which game you start with, because every game in the franchise explains the lore. But if you really have to choose I would say try New Vegas, it is just overall better then 3 in game mechanincs, and the story is better in my opinion.

But also it’s rare that I do amazing😂 however I did just play two games where our teammate left the game as soon as it started we won a 4v5 game 4-2 and second game we took it to overtime but lost 4-5. On the second game we won the round on a 3v5 because someone disconnected

Cap is just hard to use for some people 😥 his guns hit hard but have a low rate of fire. The fire can get people out of hard to reach spots and smoke is... smoke.

FNV is better than Fo3 imo, but once you slap a few mods in Fo4 is great
FNV wipes fallout 3 and its not even close
32 seconds in to the video currently: New Vegas is the better and be prepared to run into bugs, FO3 & FONV don't like new versions of windows. For your own sanity look into QoL mods at the very least as well. Don't get me wrong - the games are great, just slightly dated feature wise and a few mods put in a lot of work without altering the gameplay.
