Yes dip that fishes with the bag in water for 7 to 10 mins and then release them.
Also 12 fishes are sufficient for the size of tank you have as they will be schooling which looks better.

Bro dont add fish directly to your tank...first acclimitize the fish for sometime and then add. The fish will sometimes get shock due to sudden water temperature and become sick if u don't follow this step.

Sir i am an Fish lover and have experience in fish keeping since 8 yrs they way you directly droped the fishes is totally wrong way you need the Acclimate the fish bags atleast 15 min to match the temperature than you may release the fish without adding fish shops water..
