I thought I have googled enough and I thought I knew everything I have to know in order to do ring rows effectively and the right way. You teached me in these 6 minutes more then I was able to find on the internet by myself during several hours of research. Amazing content, not only in this video, thank you very much
Thank you SO much! That is such an honor to read and I really appreciate that! I hope it helps you gain more in less time and helps you progress along the Gain Train! And that our future videos do too!
@@MindfulMover Please do. Your content is practical and immediately applicable. It's actually better than AthleanX. I'd also suggest posting something simple on a regular weekly schedule so your channel can gain more traction. Wishing you all the success for 2022!
Yo i have a question, so whats the main difference between this and inverted rows and what different muscles do they target, amazing and very well explained tutorial btw thanks.
Thank you! The main difference is that with these rows, you are aiming to touch the rings towards your abdomen/waist/hips. And by doing that, you DECREASE the leverage and INCREASE the intensity as well as make gains towards the Front Lever! :D
Gotta try this today and see is my feet get stolen ahaha. Would be interesting to see tutorials of even basic moves (rows, push-ups etc.) since you have such a perfect technique focused on muscle tension.
Thank you so much! That's a great idea! We will add it to the list of videos to make! I am sure there would be a lot of benefit from those since there are some who are needing those tutorials too! Thanks!
Have tried some of your methods i dont 100% agree with the one arm chin up free gains method but however i do agree with front lever gives more pulling strength gains than what it takes in return. Also those nice ab lat thickness gains. During periods where i done no specific OAP=One arm pull up work i can still do it for some couple of single attempts also my muscle ups with little to no maintaince training
Thank you! Haha yes we didn’t see it before until we kind of “made it up” after we were told about the Dumbbell version of this movement in the past 😂. It was our inspiration.
These have meant such an improvement in my training, I really had a difficult time trying to progress my horizontal rows and applying these technics in... I believe four workouts now (once a week), I'm finally holding myself in the front lever tuck position, which I've only tried for fun, but is something I definitely couldn't before, please keep uploading this awesome content
I AM SO HAPPY TO HEAR THIS HAPPENED! So you couldn't Front Lever, then you did Arc Rows, and then you find yourself NOW being able to Front Lever? That is EXTREMELY interesting and a great test!
@@MindfulMover Pretty much, I mean, is just the Tuck front lever for a few seconds, but that's something I couldn't hold before. I'll try to video myself and tag you on Instagram. Also, I'm doing mixed grip chin-ups, so probably some transfer from there as well, but definitely feel arc rows have been a game-changer for me
@@lesfeckingo You could do it as 1 FLR followed by 1 of these for full ROM. You could change the ratio as you get stronger to focus more on the FLR! :D
Not that I've seen. We use this to progress to Front Lever Rows and most people will be able to Tuck Front Lever Row WAY before they can get parallel to the ground on this. :D
If you can do 4-5 tuck row reps, but can't get that full ROM where the hands are in line with the body, would you recommend going back down to arc rows? Thank you, as always!
Don’t go back down. Instead, do some FLR reps and then FINISH your set with a few of these and progress both of them as their own lifts. Over time, you will increase on both and the ROM you can use for the FLR will also increase! :D

Cool, I didn't know this rowing variation! Thanks for sharing, great tutorial!

by far the most descriptive tutorial I've seen for the arc row, THANK YOU!!!!
You're welcome! Happy to help! :D
Awesome! Loving these detailed descriptive videos! And Phil cracking a joke with a dead straight face. 😂
Hehe thank you! I actually failed to keep a straight face several times in that part. This one is the successful video 😂
Mad love G, finally figured it out thx to you🖤
Happy to help! Please let us know if we ever can more! :D
My rows were shit before I saw your tutorial on ig, you guys rock!
Thank you so much! Happy to hear it helped! These are great! Helped me increase the ROM on my Front Lever Rows!

Last is squats??
Hahaha yep!!! The big 5 is coming together ;)
My rows are such shiiiiit I don’t even know why I try. I’m totally doing this regression and progressing back up to My TFLR
Do it as a “Dropset” of sorts. A few FLRs followed by these where. Max intensity then max intensity + ROM!
@@MindfulMover So that's what 6x1+1 means? Like, FLRs followed by 1 of these?

has any of your trainees reached parallell to the ground with this exercise? So hard. Like regular pullups feel easy after this.
