Love hearing Coach Arcadia talk. He’s never biased answering questions and never put down certain teams, regions or players. Even though RRQ Indo kicked him out after only 1 season, he still talked about them in a positive way. Hope his humility and hard work always brings good fortune to SRG in the long run.
And the MPL MY first season and MSC winner proved it that he is a phenomenal coach. As an Indo, I still believe he could manage one of the Indo's team, if only he got the great backup management especially the scouting team player like he said
And of course if he's getting the chances and not get kicked immediately after one decent season
SRG scouting talent really backed him up well with the arrival of their rosters
Yeah. In the full video, he talked about preferring to recruit younger players who haven’t reached their prime. Maybe it’s easier to train and instil discipline at that age because honestly, adults never listen lol. That’s probably why his time in RRQ didn’t work out as well (aside from management not trusting him enough).

As a Malaysian, the only strong team from Malaysia is only SRG, HB is still far behind SRG. Malaysia is still not worthy to be called a hard server.

As Malaysian, you are speaking facts. The other MY teams are far behind SRG. But I would argue that Homebois can compete with ID teams or even better than them as they have beaten top ID teams like geekfam time and time again. But ID teams are also bad now. All of them. I think MPL MY is better than MPL ID now.

In general, esports isnt a rly big thing in Malaysia. To them, they think its a waste of time. We have had a few stars in Dota, Tekken and FIFA in the past but the scene never took off for people to consider as a full time career. Most people would do it as a last resort as they have nothing else to do. This MSC win will surely opens up many eyes towards esports but I doubt it will change that much of the generic perspective. Hence why MY isnt that competitive.

From my view, yes indo has great talents, but they not interested to play profesionally. They more likely to provide jockey “push rank service” or working for top global titles
but they have the biggest mlbb fanbase in the world
they can earn money consistently that way and relatively less pressure compared to being pro.

Yep absolutely correct, rather than seeking achievement, Indo players are focusing more on making money, they don't have good competitive mindset in all of their (e)Sports. They win once and make big money? That's it they DON'T WANT to improve anymore (M1 Evos). That's why, most of them, once they started streaming, that's it. The mindset of making more money with streaming will always cross their mind and it will affect their motivation. Godiva and now Pai is one of those who retired and started streaming IN THEIR PRIME.
Also push rank service/rank boosters do make as much money as the pro players here so that is why regeneration and searching for new talents here is quite difficult.

Funnily enough there is already a clear jungler among them. Well, two to be exact. Jaypee was a hyper carry back in the earlier MPL PH seasons and Owgwen did play jungle in a showmatch with Smart Omega where everyone was switching roles, even Ch4knu played jungle. Now that I think of it, Xorn also played Akai jungle BEFORE his revamp so there's actually three.
I think there was a coach who said this before. Ph teams, they play as a team, everything is coordinated. Indo teams, although they're in a team, but everyone has their own objectives. So ended up, they love to show their micro. They do however they want. But MY teams... They are a mix of both. I guess this is true.

SRG only improved bcoz of Coach Arcadia's playstyle, regulation and intensive research. He incorporated his disciplinary work ethics to his players and co-staffs. SRG trusts him so much leading him to win SRG's 1st MPL Malaysian Championship, bcoz of that, he is now the headcoach for the Malaysian team for IESF. His journey from Sunsparks, Aura, Echo, to RRQ and then to SRG is commendable. Any TEAM with his direction can be a championship caliber - You just need to "TRUST his Process" 💪🙌✌️

I think that is why mpl my will be a strong region in the future, because when you play there, you will be exposed to playing & coaching style of 3 mpl region for the whole season without waiting until the next international tournament, its only in mpl my you will see a team with players from 3 region in 1 team. it will only get better when they franchise.

the only way to see whose region is better is to make 1 dedicated SEA server, not seperated server where Ph will meet only Ph, Indo will meet Indo, etc. Just like Dota2 and HoK the matching server is SEA so all SEA region can play together therefore it is balanced, as of right now ID will hardly beat PH because even in high-tier rank match ID macro is still bad comparing to PH macro
I'd say add a separate SEA server but don't delete other servers because of players who use weak mobile data.
its basically cause of grass roots… PH had always done small tourney during dota days… they continue this tradition in MLBB
i dont think indonesia has as much small tourneys as PH.. but in terms of viewership and just players probably ID is as big or biggest… people joining tourneys will develop better macro

It's quite hard since the servers are so crowded, by making SEA all one server the lag is sure to be a huge problem, like it isn't already

@MJS-Why FCAP def gave srg a fight, whole 7 games, unfortunately they got outdrafted in the last game like ONIC did. If they had a better draft or have sacrificed the ling for the mino they most likely had a better chance at teamfights

@@charlottesphie7037 well because his team mates can't keep up if he got punish, just watch the whole game and you can see what I'm talking about. On evos indo anavel only has a potential. Im from ph and im not an indo but I like what I saw om every teams not only on ph but other countries also. Fireflux also has a potential, they just need more experience on draft plus shot calls. I'm coaching kids my area that's why I see some of mistakes, I'm not a pro coach tho just started only a month but I can say my team wins on many tournament here in our area.

Indeed SRG import some player from PH. As a matters of fact, SRG win with combo breed from PH n MY. As if you are trying to say desperately "SRG win because of PH". History is history. Let go the grudge, embrace the defeat. The more you hold the grudge, that's the moment of your downfall. As a matters of fact, mix breed of team could produce much much better gameplay and result. Time for PH team to try to improve by import some player from other region. There is nothing wrong to be defeated or to win. Instead saying SRG win because of those PH (what a nonsense reasoning). Indo players mindset is to be popular enough to make it in the live streaming industry. Means for them doing well in the local competitive is enough, not to mention the community is so toxic that they bash their own players, who is motivated to be world champion that way? They are also highly driven by money and Streaming makes way more money than being a professional player. Lastly, there is too much of entertainment aspect in Indo scene, competitive second.
eSports in MY might be underground for pro...like you know china based games which obviously oriented more for malaysian chinese let say HoK example... Malaysia players probably dominated more than other regions but eventhough it's far more popular than mlbb it's too biased for chinese to get spotlight
To sum it up, gaming is not something that Malaysian parents wants their child to be involve with. Even with SRG winning MSC nothing gonna change. Im 30 now and alot of my friends have been fighting for this with our parents back in DotA, DotA2, HoN, CSGO. Malaysian get to Ti1, Ti2, KyXy, Net, YamateH, ChuaN, Mushi, Midone, and even XNova & Orange Esport achievement didn't really makes anything change in their mindset 🤣 . You know the prize pool for Ti was so high. But i think it was right decision tho, gaming could make you go pro scene and earn money. But if you are just average player you gain nothing. If you study even with average grade you can still get a job
