Single mom chronicles...my child had to go to after school care when he was younger and I was fortunate enough that my employer gave me a flexible schedule as long as I put in 8 hrs...in middle school through high school he had soccer...I made it for only the home games...he has been out of state past 4 years for college and just moved back in town after graduation. He spent summers with his cousins and I would pick him up on the weekends. I sometimes feel guilty for the things I missed out on but I thank God he understands and God has made things beautiful in His time. You are doing right by your kids Betty. You gotta do what you gotta do. May God guide you and protect you and your little ones.
Betty - greetings from CA. That's a nice side hustle. A suggestion - for grocery deliveries - how about keeping a collapsible cart in your car's trunk, which you could use to help carry the shopping bags from your car to the customers' doorstep
The Beauty of this country. Just imagine how many young people in kenya can do this job. Requirement you just need to be 18 years old with a drivable car….. May God make way for the young Kenyans with NO jobs and really struggling with life. Thanks Betty🤗 great content🙏🏾

Which country are you from am a Nigerian, when you went to deliver the packages, there is something I notice 🤔 you kept on the floor. in Nigeria 🇳🇬 someone maybe watching you, and when you leave the vicinity, they will come and steal it, that is poverty of the mind. I love Africans that hardworking and honest.God will continue to bless 🙌 you and your family.

Hi Betty, I'm watching you from New York. I appreciate your honesty and your work ethics. I heard you mentioning about not having the children celebrating Halloween this year because you're a Christian. I used to be the same way. I denied the children a lot of fun just for being a Christian. I'm not telling you what to do. But now my children are grown. They told me how much they suffered and how much they were bullied in school for being part of the group. They were treated like outsiders, anti-social. They won't tell you sometimes about their ordeals. They don't share their feelings because they are scared. They don't want to upset you. I'm talking from experience as a mature mother. I realize certain things just like Halloween is just fun for the kids. Some schools have a party. Some neighbors and parents organize it with their kids participation. To each is own they say. It's always good to have a conversation with the kids about certain events and activities for them to understand. To deprive them of the Halloween party is debatable. That's my opinion. The kids see it as a joyful moment. Some of them may be too young to understand the meaning of it. Just keep it light and simple. Sometimes we have to be a little bit flexible. I wasn't too flexible. We must cut some slack. Each child is different. Every family is different. You're a loving and caring mother. That's why I appreciate you so much. Keep on doing what you're doing. It's working out for you. Bye till I see you in your next post. Team Betty all the way. From New York States
I share similar views with you. I take it as a day to dress up and get lots of candy treats so my daughter feels included. A lot of other Christian moms have lambasted me on this view but I always remind them to read about the history of many of the christian holidays which are steeped in paganism before getting too self righteous. In the end do what’s best for your own children
I also used to be esh esh about Halloween but when I realized how my boys were so obsessed with it that one even did a count down for it, I loosened up. Now, I even buy them those decorations and costumes and they are very happy.
Hi Betty, Just came a cross your channel and i like your content, about halloween, dear just go by the conviction, my children and i don’t celebrate it either, yes the kids might miss out on some things but also it depends on how a parent explains to them, thus they better miss out on the things of the devil, than miss out on The Kingdom Of God. Train up a child….PROVERBS, they will thank you later.
I wouldn't mind doing this in the US. Thanks, Betty this is so encouraging.
