  • This is a heavy duty upgraded Travel Control Valve directional linkage upgrade. Fixes jumpy/abrupt tractor behavior when engaging and disengaging direction control lever forward and reverse. Also most times it fixes the speed difference between forward and reverse speeds. A SAFETY MUST!

    The original design is a poor one that wears very fast, as are other versions offered out there. All it takes is the slightest of play to effect your tractors speed and travel behavior. The spool on the travel valve only moves a very small amount of travel and if your factory inline ball joint even has 1/16" of play in it, it can have a big effect. Most have much more play and slop than that. Also included is a heavy duty metal upgraded oil impregnated thrust washer bushing for the bottom of the travel control lever rod from the dash, this replaces the nylon one that is found on many models. Also included is a longer plastic bushing that goes in the dash for the travel lever to be placed through and takes care of the play up top too. Both of these parts on your tractors wear fast and they also greatly contributes to limited or uneven forward and reverse speed ranges and jumpy engagements. Install time verys on tractor year and mode. But it is a straight forward install and well worth it and one you will never have to worry about again
    Be sure to watch our You Tube Channel and Video explaining this kit and its simple install.
    Kit will fit all 446, 448, 226, 3000, and 4000 model tractors. ALSO FITS THE FOLLOWING MODELS AFTER the serial numbers below.
    220- 9656747, 222- 9658189, 224- 9667000, 444- 9661261
    WILL NOT WORK On 100 series, Case 442 or on any factory loader series 600, 6000 or 7000. You will need to adjust for optimum and correct function and performance once installed. You tractor will operate better than it ever has. USA MADE $69 shipped. OUR KIT OVER OTHERS OFFERS A HEIM STYLE JOINT WITH A LARGER STUD FOR THE TRAVEL LEVER END THATS WORN MOST TIMES SO BOTH JOINTS ARE PREFERRED HEIM JOINTS TOO. AND WE ALSO INCLUDE A UPGRADED TOP DASH BUSHING FOR THE TRAVEL LEVER THAT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO COMPLETING THIS REPAIR IN TOTAL. Part numbers this replaces C19025, C18742, C31670, C29636, C12093, C27593, C21518, C44383 and others. Is it normal for the spool to not be stiff in there moving it back and forth? I have a 2 spool the attachment lift spool with the detent has tension behind it. The spool for the drive motor can be moving back and forth easily. I noticed your hitting yours with a hammer. Is it normal for mine to be that loose? If not what can I do to fix it?

    • @caseingersolltractorsnortheast
      @caseingersolltractorsnortheast  Год назад +1

      It verys a little by year, we mentioned in the video that there was a issue with the one on the bench as it was too stiff. They should not move easy but not very hard. there should be some resistance and a little force needed.

      @@caseingersolltractorsnortheast I have a 1973 model. I feel the spool rubbing against the inside of the TCV but there’s no real feel of it being in neutral. Would just a long life of the spool rubbing cause the spool to wear and not lock into position like it should? Would replacing the spool seals help it at all? Thank you for your time sir

    do you happen to have a video on the rebuilding of the valve ? getting ready to tear my valve apart as its leaking... are there any tweaks that can be made to relief springs to make for a stronger hold as well. we are building this tractor into a sled puller. thanks for any help you can offer ! my tractor is a 220

    • @caseingersolltractorsnortheast
      @caseingersolltractorsnortheast  Год назад

      Hi we do not yet have a video buy its in the works when time allows. You can adjust the relief valve and will need a gauge to set it after rebuild. Going much higher if not familiar with hydraulics can be dangerous or do damage if you are not sure what you are doing. Many have played with the settings for what you want to do but again can be dangerous or do damage. Some also play with drive motors from big wheel machines as well as different gear sets as well as over the tears different ones were used or offered. Depending if more or less speed will help your situation or need more torque Good luck, be safe and have fun. Keep us posted would like to see your machine and it pulling.

    Ordered my kit and trying to do this on a 76 is turning into a nightmare as the 76 doesn't have the access plate. I have the hydro tank out to replace the hoses and the tank as it was leaking. I can't get the end link to go into the control arm hole. It's like it's too big to fit but I can't get under it to push it in very well. I see why they added the access panel on later models.

    • @caseingersolltractorsnortheast
      @caseingersolltractorsnortheast  Год назад

      Yes the access panels helps. But if your tanks out you should have room from up top or take battery out if that style. As in the video depending how worn your lever is you may have to open up the hole a little. We did this on purpose for 2 reasons, it allows us to use a much stronger more superior heim joint on this end and also makes for a tight fit and eliminating slop in this connection point as well. If you need more access you can remove steering gear. We have a video showing how to remove and replace the gear for alignment of machine. Also on many years but not all you can put that end of the linkage in from top OR bottom but some set ups you cant.

    • @scarbunker
      @scarbunker Год назад

      @@caseingersolltractorsnortheast Thanks for the advice. I put mine up through the bottom of the hole and it took some long flat blades and wiggling to get it in and a magnetic socket/extensions/wiggle head to get the nut on. Now to adjust the neutral. The control arm looks heavy duty so hopefully I won't have to replace it again.

      @@scarbunker Glad to hear, its one of those things it takes a little time if it is the first time, but times vary greatly depending on year/model. And most people only have to do it once with our style kit, as it is very heavy duty. We do hear often people have bought or came up with other links or options, have to replace them again and end up buying our kit and are very satisfied with the difference. But we can put them in many models pretty fast now, because we have done many and its over all fairly easy, but the first ones always take longer until you do it and have those AH HAH moments lol. Thanks for watching and the feed back as well as the purchase!

      THANKS! They should stay. If your tractor was used at one time without it, it could have possibly wore the dash hole. You could try a little JB weld etc on the bushing. I assume the bushing is new? Out kit offers a little bigger bushing.

    Did you see how many times hthe lock washer and hut was dropped? That is what I eliminated because there is no reason other than being way cheaper to use a lock washer and nut in tight spaces.

    • @caseingersolltractorsnortheast
      @caseingersolltractorsnortheast  Год назад +3

      Lol whats a "hut" ?? "Cheaper" lol hardly we use grade 8 washers but not really worried about washer and nut costs as we have thousands of them in inventory lol . I know you worry about a few cents. But if your only advantage is a half cent washer then that alone says a lot. As it has been proven by many our product is a far more heavy duty product than yours and with far better parts. As the many side by side photos floating around prove. They can be seen at caseingersolltractors.com Not to mention the many testimonials of those that buy our kit after yours fails.... Oh and the hundreds we have sold and installed over the years. So yes maybe your half cent star washer/nut helps a little with install. But still one has to get the nut on there lol. But Ill take our far superior dual heim joint that is 25%larger with it's 5/16" stud over your cheap 1/4" ball joint that fails fast. Our 5/16" threaded rod that connects and transfers most of the force is also 25% bigger being 5/16" over the 1/4" like yours on top of our major components being USA made. Then we also provide all bushings to make this a true complete kit for the consumer. The lower oil lite bushing and 2 upper Heavy Duty bushings for the dash. Also included is a long roll pin indicator for the dash and lever. And only for literally a few dollars more on our website lol. So seeing only one little washer is what you are trying to call out, speaks volumes again for our product. Like I said with all your other social media failed attempts to call out, put down and attempts to peddle some business for you. We should put you on pay roll as you really just increase our sales so thanks for that. PS. I think we will get rid of the lock washer now and go the other route. Thanks for pointing that out. Many said we could not improve our design but I guess maybe that is a way. Oh and the nut wont cost much or add any cost to the kit as we will buy them by the thousands. We do not worry about pennies here, we worry about quality and customers. I know by commenting here you hope this drives traffic to your channel and product lol...Hope it helps your needs out.. Its all good we understand people have to try and do what they have to do regardless of how pathetic or classless... Thanks for watching and the support by the comment!
