Wow, having a video series about something that was just released so recently is amazing. I have always been hoping you would cover a Gabriel song mixed by Tchad Blake.
Tchad Blake has been my favourite engineer for years. Well, then there’s Daniel Lanois, and a few others, but you get my drift - certainly one of the greats.
subtlety is cool but there are so many new and interesting sounds you can find by pushing gear a little too far. or way too far. there’s a use and a place for all of it.
@@andrewraphael3800 Yeah. I recently discover that Tchad worked on Up. And my two favorite studio albums from Peter are "Us" and "Up" (in this order). So, it's really great that they are working together.
Peter Gabriel is simply astounding. His arrangements, lyrics, the musicians he picks. One of a kind.
Tchad's mixes of Four Kinds and Panopticom, in particular, are outstanding!
Well, guess I’ll finally sign up. PG is my hero artist and Tchad is my hero mixer. Thanks for this!
I've paid for subscriptions to all the mix sites and MWTM is the king.

Tchad is a great guy! I know him and his family, he was the photographer at the theatre company I was in, very enthusiastic guy!

Feeling the dj vibes from our generation with new age toys.
Deeply touched once again grateful for the music.
Yes! Tchad's the greatest!
Gotta love Tchad Blake, what a guy
Cool, PG is my favourite artist. More videos like this please!
Love Pete’s new and Genesis !Good Stuff Man!
Familiar with a ton of producers, but not Tchad. What a cool guy!
Even before watching this video, I'm sure there will be a shot of the sansamp! Ahah
Dark side is my favorite mix by far although I like the clarity of the hi-hat in the bright side mix. This version feels more organic to me though
outstanding

I prefer the dark mixes for all the new songs.
Me too!
Me too - they feel more sympathetic to what Peter is trying to achieve. Tchad also mixed Up, which is a great sounding album.

Bollox I guess I’ll have to crack and send them my £££
First?
I can hear this album was made in a computer
A good majority of albums post-2000 were/are "made in a computer".
