But props to them for turning it into a world hit and making it "John Fogerty's pension plan", as a Quo member called it.
What I like it's John Fogerty version is a single artist one,and he did the song he wrote his own way.And what I like about Status Quo version,it's that is a band version,with two guitarists taking the lead solos,one basic C Berry stuff and Francis with his melodic style,both catchy.
