rear axle/diff has a breather going right up the rear quarter. the gearbox breather is pipped into the snorkel. though water does still get into the gearbox somewhere. not too fussed about it. i change the oils every year in the thing.

It wouldn't. Even if it did, With it being so basic I could have fixed it on the spot. As it would have been only an electrical issue. These cars are basic and when you build it yourself to resist water you kinda know. Really sad I sold this car :(
