    Hey, Coach Justin here! I’m going to be in the comments section doing Q&A for the first couple hours of the release, so if you have a question, comment below :)
    Also, I want you to comment your favorite pre-game meal and why!

    Coach you are on to something here! It’s important to build muscle but also the health of connective tissue! Can supplementation, diet (carnivore or keto), kinetic taping, help the care of the arm, especially? The typical American diets are full of processed carbs.

    Do you think a cliff bar and some water is a good thing to eat for a before game meal or do you think there should be more to it, I feel good with just that but that might not necessarily mean it’s enough. What do you think?

    Coach, can you give a good tip for my 14 year old to stick to his healthy eating plan like you draw out here? Thanks

    • @UltimateBaseballTraining
      @UltimateBaseballTraining  7 лет назад

      +Don Tinder My best advice would be to find foods you actually enjoy that are healthy and stick to them.
      If you hate brown rice, try a different carb source.
      If you're sick of chicken, switch things up and have something else.
      Also - don't worry if you don't stick to your "meal plan" 100% of the time. There's going to be times when you stray from your plan a little bit. Realize that's okay, just try to consciously make better food choices and develop healthy eating habits!

      I'd do a little research on macronutrients and even use an online calculator to see exactly how much protein, carbs, and fat you need to consume each day to reach your goals. Lean protein sources, like chicken, will be a must for you. An app to track your macros is helpful too, such as My Fitness Pal.

    What usually gives me more healthy energy is fruit or milk. Like apple slices or bananas. Also a salad keeps me very light

    Anything you would suggest for my 12 year old who often has early morning games on the weekends, but says he isnt hungry?

    • @UltimateBaseballTraining
      @UltimateBaseballTraining  6 лет назад +1

      That's a tough one. I was the same way at times. I always tried to just have something healthy and light. If I ate too much, I felt weighed down. Even if it's just a protein shake with some oatmeal or some greek yogurt, that's better than nothing. He needs to have some sort of fuel so he has energy during games.

    I drink milk more than i do water.Should i be drinking water more or milk?

    • @UltimateBaseballTraining
      @UltimateBaseballTraining  7 лет назад +1

      +Dinger Nation26 It's good you're in the habit of drinking milk, but I'd say water is definitely more important. You can drink a couple glasses of milk a day, but you need to constantly be consuming water, especially as an athlete.
      We cannot live without water. Our bodies are made up of mostly water.
      Milk has quite a bit of fat in it as well. Lots of protein and calcium which is great, but I'd say max of a couple glasses of milk each day and start drinking more plain ol water
