This is crucial for Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and MMA! My coach makes us drill checking kicks and countering so much! A good leg check will change the out come of a fight! Thanks, Bazooka Joe! Your videos are top notch! Keep training hard, Oss!

Mikey Bernabe the mid and low kick practices have paid off in self defense situations for sure.

Joseph is so knowledgeable and does A BEAUTIFUL job of explaining his videos. His technique is SUPERB!!
Know he was riddled by concussions in competition but at the highest level he can now teach us all his knowledge.

Thank you for posting this! I have recently started practicing Muay Thai and during sparring sessions I've been having trouble with my counter kicks. This explanation was great. I will definitely practice these drill and hopefully my response time will increase.

I've been doing kickboxing for 3 weeks and they haven't covered a lot of defensive moves. I'm getting my ass kicked in sparring because of it. These videos you make are extremely helpful.Thanks.

Excellent video. Question. How effective is the leg cross block for blocking knees? I rarely see it used for that purpose and wonder why Muay Thai fighters take a lot of knees to their opposite side when they can use that block. Thanks
