Looks nice, as an idea to make your wooden posts last longer in the muddy soil. You can slightly burn the bottom of the logs and then put some pebble stones as gravel in the hole below the pole for water drainage. Then plant the black burned side of the pole on top of the gravel and fill on top with soil. You will greatly extend the lifetime of the wood.
This is a great tip, thank you. I am going to use it when I am putting fence posts in, as my garden is all clay and stones and gets extremely waterlogged.

Excellent use of a waste material, and very resourceful build! I am concerned about the roof pitch towards the rock wall - could flood the home in rainy season. If pitched forward, it would need to be deeper so as not wash away the garden. The garden is wonderful and the pool made by your walking path across the stream is lovely and useful. I hope you are enjoying your hand-built home!

MAGIC!!! topped off with roasted cat and fresh water cress! yummy! i live in the california desert area and in the 60s we had a creek running through our property water cress, wild celery and onions growing along the banks and sage all around we would fish the neaby lake then come home hunt some wild quail and serve it up all roasted with the greens,, thank you for sharing this beauty and the pleasant memories i recalled . rock on hun!

Климат у вас хороший для такого жилья))❤Привет.Я из Сибири.Россия.У нас летом иногда +40,а зимой -40))..Большие траты на одежду,капитальное жильё,отопление,одежду.Мы много работаем и хорошо питаемся чтобы выжить в нашем экстремальном климате.

The title says it took 20 days. So admirable with just a couple tools and his bare hands.
Excellent use of a waste material, and very resourceful build! I am concerned about the roof pitch towards the rock wall - could flood the home in rainy season. If pitched forward, it would need to be deeper so as not wash away the garden. The garden is wonderful and the pool made by your walking path across the stream is lovely and useful. I hope you are enjoying your hand-built home!

MAGIC!!! topped off with roasted cat and fresh water cress! yummy! i live in the california desert area and in the 60s we had a creek running through our property water cress, wild celery and onions growing along the banks and sage all around we would fish the neaby lake then come home hunt some wild quail and serve it up all roasted with the greens,, thank you for sharing this beauty and the pleasant memories i recalled . rock on hun!
