ngl i really wanted this song to win, but i knew deep down it wouldn't. Last time, Over the Sky was one of and still is one of my favorite songs on jesc, and it got 14th sadly. I was absolutely expecting that same thing to happen again in 2024. Not only that but i was 100% certain that Ukraine would win judging by its staggering performance. You can imagine how happy, and very confused i was, when Andria absolutely DOMINATED in the jury results with 12 points after 12 points from almost every single jury, and finally won the whole thing.
@@pianissimo5951 When I saw the second rehearsal I was convinced that he would win. Already when I played the song on the piano, I had the feeling that this song has something special. It was winning material.

@Esc.georgianfan apparently not only musicians can distinguish a quality song from a cheap one! And I'm so happy for this. The "common ear" is becoming more demanding in terms of quality.
