I have to admit, I miss the group of people you had around during the cross days. Great to see Tyler and try to do an event with Eric befor the end of your season.
Great recap video. The Ledges were tough! I couldn't make a few of the rocky turns there. I'm amazed at all the pros who are able to ride that. Too bad Sherman couldn't make the trip with you, would have loved to see him. Good luck at Big Sugar!
Was hoping you'd have a video out quickly! I raced as well (age grouper) and definitely had not expected the rain but it really wasn't much of an impact until Blowing Springs and that was slick as snot. Even The Ledges wasn't bad. Also felt the same once getting in town. Was just ready for it to be over. I'm local(ish - 30 minutes south) and rarely ride the Tunnel Vision/Little Sugar side because like you said, it's just so repetitive and you rarely get payoff for climbing. Also not a fan of the loose rocks, especially on an XC bike. I like the Back 40 side, though. Good luck this weekend! Will be rooting for you. Hope your trip goes well, also.
If wish they'd do this race with loops on the Traverse, but I guess the traffic stopping on MLK would be too big of deal. That back 40/tunnel vision combo is a beat down; constant up and down on loose gravel all seemingly the same!
@@matthewmyers7826Can you imagine the uproar if traffic was stopped on MLK for a race like this? Lol. I mean, it happens briefly for the Joe Martin but this would be a lot of stops. And the cow tunnel. lmao just thinking about that chaos.
In the middle of the video an add for Ikon Pass came up with the same exact background music, what are the chances! synced perfectly too did you do that on purpose??
Gave you a thumbs up, 50 seconds in, with anticipation of a splendid video…lol🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻. Incidentally…. I just moved from LA to Winston Salem, NC…..2 miles from Hobby Park…. What is your list of must ride single track in the area…. The more climbing the better…🤙🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻. Keep crushing it in life! You and your content is Awesome!

Super troopers! 😂
Props for the speedy Little Sugar edit!
You beat the World Champ.
They should require you to race on Wal-Mart Huffys with platform pedals.
What's the name of the electric tire inflator you used at 4:30 in the video?
@brianeddy741 correct it's the Bosch EasyPump!

Got the new Kerry Werner Apple Cider Flow being delivered tomorrow...it's good?
Prepare for your taste buds to be blown!!
whats the deal with the 60 tpi tires
They are tougher and more puncture resistant than the 120tpi versions of those tires. Good for sharp Arkansas rocks

haha we both must use the same licensing platform. go figure I am as big time as ikon pass.
You don't count leadville? 🙄🤣🤦♂️🤮
Leadville is 99% fire road. Little sugar is mostly single track. A true mountain bike race.

Hey I’m from the area, I moved away, but check out Kernersville Mtb trail, and Salem lake
Haha not much of list for central nc just ride everything that is there. If you want fun drive 2 hrs to Roanoke or 2.5 to Brevard for the goods!
Wilksboro and MST have some good stuff.
@@KDubzDidWhat Thank you….🤙🏻. I’ve got a Westy and like to travel…. So I’ll be all over the east coast and south east….🤙🏻
