It says "whenever a creature"... it doesn't say nontoken creature. Creature tokens still hit the graveyard causing graveyard or dying triggers to trigger. Token creatures just dissipate once they go there, but they still trigger with this commander.
I know all that. But Sefris especially says creature CARD to go to the graveyard. It's written on it. If not it would be written when a creature dies (as on every other card)
@@helexable Sefris specifically triggers off cards, not just creatures, but creature cards. Cause creature cards are only creatures on the battlefield, to trigger discard and mill its got another wording Tokens are not cards
Thinking of getting into commander starting with this commander, so a good video with some interesting includes. I will note that Sefris doesnt work with tokens, as others mentioned, as while they hit the graveyard they arent creature 'cards' when they do so, hence not triggeriny the ability. I think the way i intend to run Sefris is with a bunch of cycling creatures so i can cheaply cycle them into the graveyard on each player's turn without losing value, some draw/discard spells and looters, and then some good budget reanimation targets sprinkled in. Maybe some surveil, but i dont think I'll bother with too much self mill.
5:35 Correction (i think) Creature tokens are not actual cards in the rules of the game. When Sefris’ ability states “creature card” it is looking for a physical card to hit the graveyard whether from discard or death etc. A creature token is simply a representation, the card itself is not actually real in the game it is a representation for a token that was generated from thin air (in rules context) In this way when a creature token dies a true physical card does not actually hit the graveyard. The reason this matters is because the ability specifically states a card, not simply a creature.
Token doesn't work with her. She needs a creature card

No. It especially says when creature CARD hit the graveyard
Not when a creature dies. It's so that it won't be to broken easily
@genbu creature tokens still hit the graveyard, deck, and hand for a brief moment to trigger abilities before they dissapear.

It needs to be a creature card to trigger her. Tokens aren’t cards.
Heard him say that, and immediately was like "that doesn't sound right"
Surprisingly, tokens do indeed hit the graveyard but then immediately vanish
@@ilanwallace2220 That doesn’t answer the original question
@@briansternberg2695 Though I haven't researched this question, IMHO tokens would trigger Sefris
@@ilanwallace2220 Sefris directly says cards so no

Are you guys not doing the commander games with each set anymore? That was so fun to watch.
I think that Dungeon is a really strong ability
Fact or fiction is great but vanish is to memory is a spot remove with a Blink effect that you target on your own monsters to then get etb trigger
