In addition for those who has came across a little bit hick ups on getting verified by Root Checker Basic (in video minute 4.35) in case you cannot get verified due to blocked by Samsung KNOX as experienced by me, kindly run SuperSU app (find it on yr phone as it is already installed, unsure during which activity in the video) and the app will ask whether you want to disable samsung KNOX, click yes and after that, click back Root Checker Basic and got verified. Best of Luck!

i think this happened because of your software version which is 4.4.2 its actually much easier to get root in that version i will show you if you want just say it

I just tried it on mine and I did the whole process, I tried installing the SM-N900 on the Odin 307 did not work... then I installed it with the SM-N9005 on Odin 307 again and it seemed to work. I checked it with the Root checker. I tried verifying and it kept saying no root 3 times.. I left my phone a lone for a bit and then went to verify once more and it said it is rooted. So I guess it did work lol
