@@jameshager487 Me too. I think that's exactly why Foreman lost the fight with Tommy Morrison. I also think that's the reason the fights with Alex Stewart, Axel Schultz, Crawford Grimsley, Lou Saverese, and Shannon Briggs went the distance. Moreover, Foreman was robbed in the fight with Briggs.
They had to. He was dying in there, man. Towards the end of the fight when they cut to Young's corner, you can hear him say, "oh, God, please no more," and you see his face in absolute agony. Agony. His corner men were talking about honor and being a professional earlier but they showed none at the end. They had a very underrated HW that was tough as nails. Hallway through the fight, that warrior is begging God to stop it because he couldn't take it anymore. His corner would have called it then. Probably a couple of rounds earlier. You could see after the first round that he wasn't going to hurt George at all and that Foreman was taking pieces of meat off of their boxer. Terrible.
Seemed to me that Mr. Foreman never really wanted to hurt his opponents during his comeback, he would have done just enough to get the W... Thank you for uploading the fight.
Nice courage for Young who was trying to go a distance with the comeback George Foreman. However, the commentators made 2 terrible misinformation. First, they stated that no opponent prior to Mark Young that went more than 6 rounds with George Foreman, which was false. They didn't research and knew that Dwight Muhammad Qawi went 7 rounds with Foreman. Second, Jose Ribalta wasn't a cruiserweight and he never won it in his pro career as Ribalta was a heavyweight throughout his career. Those commentators didn't do their research prior to this fight.
Im surprised He doesn't have more body shot KO's. When he was a little younger he would throw those wide wide hooks to the body, left right left right over and over. Huge winging hooks that he just barrage his opponent with. He had quick hands to for his size.. I don't know how people were taking some of those shots
This commentator keeps calling a "beautiful right hook to the liver" for George foreman... Apparently this guy needs an anatomy lesson. The Liver is on the RIGHT side of your body, not your left. So you would need to throw a LEFT HOOK if your going to hit a man in the liver.
That wasnt no DIVE, that was a clean accurate UPPERCUT Tyson landed on the JAW of Mark Young, who didnt see it coming, I notice its always a NON BOXER who's not getting Punched by those same devastating Punches to the FACE be the first people to claim a FIghter took a "DIVE" !!! LMAO
Can we just take a second and say that these announcers are really good? They knew Foreman was going to win but they still gave props to Young for fighting the fight is his life. And they are just pros. Everything now is over the top and I'm your face. They got just excited when it was appropriate even though they were clearly blown away by George's size and ungodly power. Awesome.
That body shot at 2:33. Holy shit. The amount of force that he could generate when he gave himself room (he was a monster at every distance and could knock you dead with 4-6" distance. He was that strong) is fucking bananas. He had some serious speed on it too. That shit must have hurt horribly. Damn. No thanks.
25:32 How badass is it that Foreman casually strolls away before his opponent even hits the canvas.
LOL! Foreman was a beast! And thanks for watching Catfish -- please subscribe if you haven't already. :-)
On one hand Foreman is a beast, on the other hand he deeply cared about his opponents health.
I agree when you watch some of his fights he seems to let up from throwing some punches

George's jab was superb!
The idea that an "old and out of shape" George Foreman was trashing opponents in what were viewed as mismatches says a lot for Big George.
Thank you for commenting -- and watching -- Elems! Please subscribe if you haven't already... :-)
Iove to watch old Foreman, Duran, and Hearne fights
I have all those guys on my channel for you! And thanks for watching Alva -- please subscribe if you haven't already. :-)
He might have been 40 but he was still good to watch.hard to beat power.

The great big George, the most intimidating boxer in history. Legend
Young's corner feeding him some effective hawshit.

25:30 like Ali did him, not throwing the best punch of the match. Still learning from Ali.

Lamb to the …
those body shots were too much. He literally rock him down to the canvas...
You can hear Young screaming at one point, when Foreman is landing 3 in a row and he's against the ropes.

Young definitely weren’t taking them shots from Tyson so looking like Mike had more power then big George!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Nah, Foreman went easy on Young. I do like Tyson though.

Foreman knocks Tyson into the third row.

Why does this guy show southpaw consistently for no reason

Mark Young folded when he fought Tyson. Took a dive
I thought that a long time ago but If you look at slow motion, the right hook caught him on the jaw. Perfect precision with a delayed reaction.

Now, BUSTER DOUGLAS took a DIVE against HOLYFIELD
Foreman fighting another handpicked bum. George didn't want to fight any real fighters.
like prime real deal in 1991? lol
Holyfield, Moorer, Morrison, Cooney... He hadn't fought for 10 years, he started out with bums to get back in the groove.
Called out tyson he didnt want smoke 😂😂
