    It doesn't give the same results. (0.3(x^-.7) y^0.3 ) / (0.7(y^-.3) x^0.3) doesn't equal 3y/7x

      Looks like you forgot a couple of negative signs there, Chief.

      No. Even when I type 0.3x^neg.7 y^0.3 / 0.7y^neg.3 x^0.3 into Wolfram Alpha the answer is .42 y^0.6/x Your answer was close but still wrong

      My answer isn't wrong.- you must be typing something incorrectly into Wolfram Alpha- though you ought to be able to just do this by hand. See image: imgur.com/a/YBPFR
